Sugar Moon Farm is Nova Scotia’s Award-Winning Year Round Maple Syrup Farm
and Dining Experience. Learn about the history and craft of maple sugaring in the
sugar camp. A tour of the sugar bush and sugaring facilities will start at 5:00 pm. Sugar
Moon has agreed to offer their special Chef’s Night. Every month Sugar Moon invites a
celebrity chef from the best restaurants in Nova Scotia to cook. Chef Craig Flinn from
the Halifax restaurant Chives Canadian Bistro will be presenting a 4 course maple-
inspired dinner featuring local, seasonal ingredients. The chef introduces each course
talking about the ingredients and preparation and optional wine pairings are available.
The fun begins with maple cocktails between 6 pm and 7 pm, dinner at 7 pm.

Thursday, June 18
CAEN attendees are invited to participate in the CADAP tour of Agri-tourism
operations in Nova Scotia with dinner at the historic inn featuring Nova Scotia
seafood and local products. Non-CADAP members welcome – Cost of Dinner - $50

of your registration form. Your reservation will be hold two weeks upon receipt of your

ACCOMODATIONS
You need to book early because room space fills up quickly. The walking distance
between the closest hotel and NSAC is 40 minutes, renting a car is advised if you do not
plan to stay in residence. The airport is a 30 minute drive from Truro.
