             ABOUT AVAILABLE COVERS

Damage to your Dirt Bike
We will insure you for Damage to your Dirt Bike shown in the
Policy Schedule. The Damage must be caused by an
Insured Event and happen within Australia during the period
of insurance.

The events insured are:

• Fire, explosion, lightning, earthquake, flood.
• Collision, impact, overturning of a Vehicle which was
  transporting your Dirt Bike.
• Theft from a vehicle while the Vehicle transporting your
  Dirt Bike is attended.
• Theft from a locked Vehicle transporting your Dirt Bike
while your Dirt Bike was locked in or to the carrying vehicle.
• Theft with forcible entry from locked premises.

                               3
We will pay:

• The market value of your Dirt Bike ( or any sum insured
indicated on your Schedule, if it is less than the market
value of Your Dirt Bike )
• Reasonable costs of towing or storage after insured
  Damage happens
• General average charges and salvage charges incurred if
your Dirt Bike is being transported by ship within
  Australian waters and these apply

Exclusions

The policy will not provide insurance cover under certain
circumstances. For example, we will not cover claims
for loss or damage arising from you riding your Dirt Bike. Full
details of the exclusions appear in the policy wording. You
should read the policy wording and make yourself aware of
all the exclusions that apply.

    UNDERSTANDING YOUR POLICY AND ITS
     IMPORTANT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

To properly understand this policy’s significant features,
benefits and risks you need to carefully read:

• about each of the available types of cover and benefits in
the relevant sections, including any endorsements
(remember certain words have special meanings – see
  the “Words with special meanings” section);

• “General Exclusions” section (this restricts the cover
  and benefits);

• “General Conditions of Cover” and “Making a Claim”
sections (these set out certain obligations that you and
we have. If you do not meet them we may be able to
refuse to pay a claim or reduce the amount that we have
  to pay); and

• “Other information” section (this contains important
information on our dispute resolution process and our
  privacy policy).

                              4
             YOUR INSURANCE POLICY

When you apply for the policy by completing our application
we agree with you on things such as: the period of
insurance; your premium; what property you want to cover;
and whether any standard terms need to be varied (this may
be by way of an endorsement). These details are recorded in
the schedule we issue to you.

This policy sets out the cover we are able to provide you
with. You need to decide if the limits, type and level of cover
are appropriate for you and will cover your potential loss. If
they are not, you may be underinsured and have to bear part
of any loss you are not covered for yourself. To avoid this,
people seek to set the insured amount for the relevant
property being insured at its estimated replacement value.

            YOUR INSURANCE PREMIUM

The base premium we charge varies according to your
risk profile. The factors taken into account include such
things as where you live, the type of Dirt Bike being insured,
amount of cover required, and relevant claims history etc.
In some cases discounts may apply if you meet certain
criteria we set.

You will also have to pay any compulsory government
charges (e.g. Stamp Duty and GST) plus any additional
charges we tell you about. In some cases a service fee will
apply where you pay your premium by instalments. We tell
you the total amount payable when you apply for the
insurance and if you proceed to obtain the insurance, the
amounts due will be confirmed in your schedule.

If you pay your premium by instalments refer to the
“Conditions of cover” section for important details on your
and our rights and obligations. Note that an instalment
premium outstanding for 14 days may result in our refusal to
pay a claim.

                              5
                           EXCESS

If you make a claim under the policy, you will have to pay an
excess. The amount of the excess that you will have to pay
is printed on your policy schedule. The amount payable by
you will be calculated after deduction of any input tax credit
that you are or may be entitled to claim on payment of the
excess.

                              GST

If you are not registered for GST in the event of a claim we
will reimburse you the GST component in addition to the
amount that we pay.

The amount that we are liable to pay under this Policy will be
reduced by the amount of any input tax credit that you are or
may be entitled to claim for the supply of goods or services
covered by that payment.

If you are entitled to an input tax credit for the premium, you
must inform us of the extent of that entitlement at or before
the time you make a claim under this Policy. We will not
indemnify you for any GST liability, fines or penalties that arise
from or are attributable to your failure to notify us of your
entitlement (or correct entitlement) to an input tax credit on
the premium.

If you are liable to pay an excess under this Policy, the
amount payable will be calculated after deduction of any
input tax credit that you are or may be entitled to claim on
payment of the excess.

                 COOLING OFF PERIOD

There is a 21 day cooling off period. If you are not completely
satisfied with your policy, you can cancel it by contacting
Arista Underwriting Agency in writing within 21 days of the
date of issue of your policy. We will refund your premium less
any non-refundable government charges and taxes that we
have paid. You do not have a right to cancel your policy if you
make a claim for any incident within the 21 day period.

                                6
                    CANCELLATION

For cancellation rights after the 21 day period, please read

Under that Act you have a Duty of Disclosure.

This policy is subject to the Insurance Contracts Act 1984.
Under that Act you have a Duty of Disclosure.

What you must tell us

When answering our questions, you must be honest and you
have a duty under law to tell us anything known to you, and
which a reasonable person in the circumstances, would
include in answer to the question. We will use the answers in
deciding whether to insure you and anyone else to be
insured under the policy, and on what terms.

Who needs to tell us

It is important that you understand you are answering our
questions in this way for yourself and anyone else whom you
want to be covered by the policy.

If you do not tell us

If you do not answer our questions in this way, we may
reduce or refuse to pay a claim, or cancel the policy. If you
answer our questions fraudulently, we may refuse to pay a
claim and treat the policy as never having worked.

You have the same duty to inform us of those matters
before you renew, extend, vary, or reinstate your contract
of insurance.

Your duty however does not require disclosure of matters that:
• reduce the risk
• are common knowledge
• we know or, in the ordinary course of our business, ought
   to know
• we have indicated we do not want to know
