Please send the following support materials to BIOS by May 30 when we will begin selections. You can
expect notification of the outcome by the end of June. Please endeavor to send the application as a complete
package rather than one file at a time.
    1. Two letters of reference from people competent to judge your potential for research
 We prefer to receive email letters rather than snail mail; the best references are your college/
university professors and any research project advisors who know your academic and research
accomplishments and potential who could give details such as your lab proficiency. You may
email us scans of the letter, or you may have the author email them to us directly.
    2. A personal résumé
    3. College transcripts (we accept copies of certifiable transcripts, i.e., no ‘made up’ Excel spreadsheets
or Word document that lists courses – but a photocopy of a transcript with college seal, etc is
       acceptable)
    4. Please nominate 3 potential faculty mentors that match your research interests from the list available
at: http://www.bios.edu/education/reumentor_projects.html, and include these names with your
       application email.
