					                              How to Read the "Consolidation Tracker"

Task ID#
Syntax for "Task ID#" is the acronym for the task category, followed by a unique three digit number;
sequentially ordered as appropriate.

Task Priority
"Task Priority" should describe the significant of the action in comparison to other items within the task
category. Expected values are "High", "Medium", or "Low".

Source Document
Source of origination, if necessary. Used in the initial development of the consolidated task tracker list,
referencing the materials available on the System Office network drive.

Task Category
Represents the major functional area to which the task is most aligned. Expected values are as follows:
  - Administration
  - Academic Affairs
  - Student Services
  - Fiscal Affairs
  - Information Technology
  - Facilities

Task Subcategory
If necessary, a subcategory can be used to further organize the tasks within a "Task Category". There
are no standard values for this field. Institutions should use it as necessary.

Task Name/Description
A brief description of the task and/or action item. This field should contain only enough information to
adequately describe the task and its expected deliverable(s).

Affected Institutions (Unit A)
The institution which will "receive" the second institution.

Affected Institutions (Unit B)
The institution which will transition data/systems into the Unit A institution.

Related External Agencies
This field should capture any external agencies or organizations which will be involved in the execution
of the task, including active participation, or as a approving body.

Duration
Should capture the expected timeframe for the task (e.g. "2 months).

Start
Date at which the task will begin.

Finish
Date at which the task will conclude.

Prerequisites
Prerequisites
The "Task ID#" for any tasks that must be completed prior to this task (i.e. "parent" tasks).

Corequisites
The "Task ID#" of any tasks that should be completed in conjunction or simultaneously with this task.

Task Leader
The point of contact and/or manager of this task, who can describe the task's level of completion, and
any risks or impediments that threaten the institution's ability to complete the task.

Progress
The current level of completion for this task. Expected values are percentiles (e.g. 25%). A task with a
value of 100% in the "Progress" field indicates that the task is complete and ready for any necessary
verification.

Known Risks/Impediments
A field to capture any known risks or other issues that threaten the institution's ability to complete the
task in an acceptable manner within the established timeframe. This information should communicate
to leadership the issue and any potential solutions requiring additional attention.

Timeline
Timeline should reflect the dates provided by the "Duration", "Start", and "Finish" fields. If any
intermediate deadlines should be tracked in relation to this task, they may be recorded here as well.
