     Practical      training   is    also    important       aspect    in

management course. There is many times vast difference

between       theoretical    knowledge       and    actual     practical

implications.


     Thus practical training helps individuals of know the

actual uses and implications of what he has g ained from

theoretical     knowledge.     The    theoretical      knowledge      and

classroom discussion is not enough for a management student

now. For the knowledge about practical viewpoints, problems,

        In BBA course we are suppose to visit any industry and learn

particular and prepare a project report on that so I selected “BLOSSOM

KITCHENWARE PVT. LTD.”. It is a small-scale unit.




        The “BLOSSOM KITCHENWARE PVT. LTD.” It is a small scale

unit.




        They manufacture the different type of Stove. They have 13 brand

name of stove, 4 brand name of stove is main and own product of them,

which are Vikas, Vishal, Nutan and Vinus. Other is their franchises. It

has a workshop, die room, color- room, welding room and laboratory

room.
        HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT


     The “BLOSSOM KITCHENWARE PVT. LTD.” Established in the

year 1990 by strong efforts of Mr. Pankaj R. Rathod. When unit was

establishing before the 12 years, it was in partnership firm but then it

become in Pvt. Ltd.



     Before starting the BLOSSOM KITCHENWARE, the owner had

business of the chemical at the Gondal for 3 to 4 years. Later on he

switched over from the chemical to this type of the industrial area. Then

he thinks about the new business of the stove. The owner has choose the

stove business because on that time the storage of the gas as well as for

the turning point of the wooden cutting is not efficient for the nature. So

only one good way is kerosene stove and the reason is that the middle

class person user easily this is one reason of them so he started this

business.



     At present the proprietor can successfully, running the business of

stove. Previously the organization was manufacturing their types of the

stove but today it is producer 13 types of stoves, which shows the

development of the unit and bright future in the year to become.

business unit that failed due to wrong location in spite of great efficient

management. It must be remarked that the business unit may be

successfully running a particular location.


      In 1984, Gujarat Government has declared “Shapar, Veraval” as a

backward zone, which belong to district Rajkot and taluka kotda

Sangani. Its total area is about 30 km. in circle Government of Gujarat

has also given special benefit to all new coming industrial to this zone.

The BLOSSOM KITCHENWARE PVT. LTD. Is located in Veraval

(Shapar), which is spread in area of 35000 square feet of construction

building, and 4200 yard is the Land.

      It is small scale unit industry should be located where it gets in

fracture facilities like transportation, power, cheaply and adequate

labour available at reasonable rate.

investment measuring policy. On the basis of capital investment the

activities of procurement, allocation and utilization of resources such as

labor, energy, materials, equipment, machinery etc.




      Production must be operated in an economic and efficient manner

because cost of production is a vital factor in facing market competition

and in ensuring normal profit or return on investment.

      This machine is use for give shape of the material sheet at means

      This machine is cut as well as the embossed the metal sheet

through it dies. There are 55-power press machine.




3.    Scot Welding Machine




      These machines are useful to joint the two metal sheets. It work is

joint the sheet or any item of stove. These types of machinery are 5.
4.      Hydraulic Press Machine



        Use of this type of machine is to emboss the all types of the metal

sheet. This machine is purchased from Ajanta machine Tools from

Rajkot.



5.      Surfers Grinder machine



        This machine is useful for the grinder work. In this unit this

machine is also can grinder of the stove parts.



6.      Drill Machine



        The use of this machine is to make the hole. So it worked as a drill

machine. It make hole in the metal sheet according to our need we can.



7.      Shearing Machine

        This machine is used for the cut the metal sheet as per the use or

need.
8.    Execo Machine



      Use of this machine is cutting things. This machine cut the pipe of

the iron.



9.    Circle machine



      Use of this machine helps in cutting things of round shape of sheet.



10.   Task Sealing Machine



      The machine is very useful. These types of machine are joint

according to his home. It joints the task and cover of the stove.



11.   Hand Press Machine



      The work of machine is according to his name by the hand can

press and get the act according to die.
12.   Compressor




      Though compressor can compress the air so use of this machine is

to do spray colour to the parts of stoves.




13.   Blister Packing Machine




      Use of this machine maker, the plastic packing. So the worker can

do packing of stoves in plastic by this machine.
           MANUFACTURING PROCESS


      TANK



      I.    They make the tank from CRC steel sheet and shaped it

            according to dies then they cut the additional steel sheet.




     II.    Now they make and embossed the upper body of the tank

            they make the five whole upper side of the tank. Then they fit

            the fuel cap of the kerosene.




    III.    Now they joint the upper part of the tank and lower part of

            the tank, and they fit the fuel contain in the tank.




       Now tank is completed which we can show in the photography as

given below:
     BURNER


     I.   Now process will be start for the wick. They cut round shape

          of the steel sheet and embossed. Now they make the fourteen

          holes in the plate of fourteen holes four hole not.

    II.   They make the deject and make 10 holes init. After it they

          make 10 round pipe and welding it with the plate and deject.

          Now the record pipe of the wick is jointed with the wick

          controller then through the fly not joint the burner and tank.




 STAND


     I.   Firstly they round strips then they make three pillars of

          stands and joints two round ships with three pillars. Then

          they put under the stand this pillar guard.
    CYLINDER




    I.   They cut the steel sheet according to maser then they make

         many small holes in it and then band round it and put on it

         cap which has one small hole and joint it.




    OUTER CYLINDER



    I.   They cut the steel sheet according to maser then make the

         many small holes on it like inner cylinder and embossed two

         side of it outer cylinder is ready.




    TOP PLATE



    I.   Now they cut the steel sheet for the plate of the stove out of

         the coil then they embossed them and cut the big round in

         the middle.
    II.   They make cookware through pressing sheet and make

          support of the plate and joint three-cookware support with

          the top plate.




     DRUM




     I.   For the drum manufacturing they cut the manually plate and

          round them as well as embossed them.




    II.   They cut the capsule type hole around the drum so that the

          air can be doing and out.

      Manpower is the most important resources among all the

resources. How many finds you have, how much technological

advancement manpower. So, man is most important resource so a

medium is required to manage these resources. So they are to manage

this resource. So there is a personal department.




      Management is the development of people and not mere direction

of resources. Human resources are the greatest assets for any business

enterprise. The essential ingredient of management is leadership and

direction of people.




      It is primarily concerned with manpower resources or inputs. It is

planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling manpower in

order to contribute individual and social goods to the business

organization.

         Recruitment is convinced with the identification of sources from

where personal can be employed and motivating them to apply for

employment.



         For recruitment of officers and staff members, on advertisement is

given in the newspaper, mentioning the requirement of that personnel

department receives applications. These applications are classified as

per the concerned department head. The suitable applicants ate them

called for personal interview, which is connected by the interview

committee, which normally comprises of two persons from the

personnel department and one from the administrative department and

the connected department head. Here recruitments end and selection

start.



         Selection is a process in which the choice of person is to be made

out of available candidate.




         Selection is a process of choosing most suitable candidates out of

     Once in a year training is given to the workers. This is given on the

all India level with only difference in language under “All India Workers

Education Scheme”. It was actually started in Baroda on 10th September,

1996 and then in Ahmedabad in 1947. During this training period,

workers are given information regarding provident fund, bonus, gratuity

and other rights.




     Human resource is most important resource of all the resources.

So if this resource is sound and strong it ultimately leads to higher

productivity of the organization.




     In the BLOSSOM KITCHENWARE Pvt. Ltd. have no separate

department for training. They give the training through senior employee.

The new employee be known about work by the superior.
           WAGES AND SALARY


     The basic purpose of wage and salary administration is to maintain

equitable wage and salary structure. The employee is working to get

monetary returns, so it should be fair and enough.




     Proper and regular wage and salary helps to avoid industrial

disputes and decrease in productivity, in indirectly motivates the

workers and increases his efficiency.




     In “The Blossom Kitchenware Pvt. Ltd.” the finance department

handles wage and salary affairs. The company gives the salary and wage

daily, weekly and monthly. It has also allowance the petroline the daily

wage generally is Rs. 80 to 90.




     This company gives the increment system. They gives the

increment or bonus on the basis of the profit and performance of the

employees. The company gives the bonus on the festivals.
               FACILITY AND SAFETY




      Facility of the provident fund extra wages for extra leaving salary

and other facility are given to the employee.




      They gives some safety hand gloss claim of the worker as well as

green cloth colour to the workers.

Promotion can be defined as an movement in job, means to move one

company sells the product in domestic market that is Bombay, West-

Bengal, Tamilnadu are almost 350 dealers.



(3) International market

     International market refers to the market among the different

countries. This company sells his product in international market that is

Kenya, Sri Lanka etc. in the international market brand name is Vikas,

Vinus, Vishal.

     The product is the most tangible and important single component

Kitchenware Pvt. Ltd. Plans about packing, labeling, branding, product

research, product improvement, and product development etc.




     Because of the sound product planning the unit can cover not only

national but also international markets. Product planning consists of

new product putting of new ideas, invention and modification of existing

product and removal of the obsolete and unprofitable products.

programmer. They are research about the product as well as the sales for

the sale purpose. They can advertisement through different media and

sample also. This unit has also a laboratory room. In laboratory room

they can analysis about product. They are also research on the

distribution strategies, market competition buyer behavior and attitude

in the market place. To achieve the any important goods the market

research is one of important ways.

      The role of the laboratory is the most important and crucial role in

any organization. Through the laboratory you can check your product as

well as you can check any mistake in the product and check your raw

material.



      The Blossom Kitchenware Pvt. Ltd. has a laboratory department.

In the laboratory they are checking the stove after it is manufactured and

if there is any mistake they can remove it.

      The process of checking the stove is given below.



   Thermal Esiency Test



      First you can arrange stove means all part of stove, then fill 2.5

liter fuel in the tank after it all wick and you have put the heat for the 15

minutes after it start the stove on the stove then stove put on the digital

roughing machine and measure it weight and start the stop watch.


      If you have any doubt and fault in the stove so you have to take a

water in the pot and then put stove and boiling it for the one hour after

one hour you take down and one more time weight it can on the digital
weighting machine and analysis them after this they subscribe the

second analysis from first analysis. This difference is called as

consumption rate.




      There is not only one type of the test but also color test on the

stove as well as chrome test and thickness test.

keep the raw material of the product in storage department as well as

they also keep the finished goods in storage department. Through this

department, they can pressure their product safely they can also the

work of the packing of the product in the storage department is also

good of play a vital role.




      Different room there are dies room etc.
                  FUTURE PLANS

      The future plan of the company is diversification of the industry

for house appliances such as mixture, grinder, juicer, water filter, iron

toaster and selling fan chilly cutter and other cuttering items.


      And they are going to manufacture a china space model, which will

be the India’s first manufacturing product, which is not firstly prepared

by any lady. They are going to manufacture a new model of stove whose

tank will be square shaped. The product will be made from the same

plant, only machinery should be bought.
           SUGGESTIONS
      Due to globalization competition has increased. In the cut-

throat competition of modern world, in order to become the

market leader of stove plants. “The Blossom Kitchenware Pvt.

Ltd.” should advertise their products.

    The unit should try to give best service after sales and

improve more and more quality of stove. Also should try taking

minimum price of product to customer. They should try to

appoint more authorized dealer.

   The unit should increase the number of their salesmen so that

they can get more customer through advertisement of salesmen.
                     CONCLUSION

     The excitement of tacking industry training was a unique

experience for me.



     These units made me aware of the working and managing

structure production procedures, marketing structure etc. The H.O.

marketing structure of this firm has guided me through out the training.

Every work in this firm very co-operative and helped me a lot in
