Experimental Procedure
Step 1: Gather materials
Step 2: Take one bag of popcorn and
 remove plastic
Step 3: Put popcorn in the center of the
 microwave and follow directions on the
 bag to cook
Step 4: Open bag and immediately empty
 popcorn out into the bowl
Experimental procedure continued
Step 5: Count total number of popped
 kernels
Step 6: Count total number of unpopped
 kernels
Step 7: Record data
Step 8: Repeat steps 2-7 three more times
 with the same popcorn brand
Step 9: Repeat steps 2-8 with a different
 popcorn brand
Control Group

Putting the popcorn in the microwave and
 not turning the microwave on.
