• Established as YMCA Institute of science and technology in 1969
under the 3rd 5-Years Plan
• Joint venture of Govt. of India, Haryana Govt., West Germany
and National Council of YMCAs of India
• To produce highly practice based middle management level
engineers to feed the industries on the German Pattern of
training.
• Capable of translating designs and plans into actual production
• Established as YMCA university of science and technology in
2009
