   LANDMARK
Deuteronomy 19:14 You shall not remove
your neighbor's landmark, which the men of
 old have set, in your inheritance which you
will inherit in the land that the Lord your God
            is giving you to possess.
               Background
Before surveying equipment, iron pins,
 computerized records, and GPS;
Before there was barbed wire fencing;
Posts, rocks, and trees were used to mark the
 corners of property boundaries
A thief could move or remove a marker and
  steal property
               Background
These warning are found in several places in
 the Bible – in addition to our text
  Deuteronomy 27:17
  Job 24:2
  Proverbs 23:10
Even today – there are no fences in Israel
There are landmarks of the faith once
 delivered
They should not be moved or altered

Deuteronomy 19:14 You shall not remove
 your neighbor's landmark, which the men of
 old have set, in your inheritance which you
 will inherit in the land that the Lord your God
 is giving you to possess.
To move a marker is to steal property
Each tribe divided its territory for each family
On Jubilee the land returned to the original
 family

 DON'T MOVE THE LANDMARKS
1.TRUTH does not change or shift
2.GOSPEL must not be changed or moved
3.BIBLE remains the Word of God
4.WORSHIP is not adjusted for our liking
5.ETERNITY – Heaven and Hell are real and
  forever!
