Dear Parent/Carer,

I am writing to inform you of an exciting new trip to Paris that I am hoping to run during the
Easter holidays.

Paris is a wonderful place to visit, students must be prepared to be captivated by the city that
has enchanted artists, writers and kings over the centuries. In Paris you will see some of the
most famous sites in the world. They will climb the Eiffel Tower, and watch the city go by at a
more leisurely pace from a glass–topped boat on the Seine.

The visit will depart on Saturday 31st March 2012 from St James, travelling by coach to
Dover and taking the ferry to France and returning on Tuesday 3rd April.

Whilst in Paris, we will stay in a hotel, with pupils in rooms for 2-4 students, all equipped with
private facilities. We will spend one day at Euro Disney, a truly magical place! Disneyland
Paris has been successfully visited by school trips for many years and with so many rides,
shows and attractions it makes for an unforgettable experience. We will also visit the most
famous landmark in Paris, the Eiffel Tower and spend time looking around the Louvre
Museum (which Y9 are currently studying in their English lessons). In addition, we will take
a boat trip along the River Seine, a fantastic way to see one of the most beautiful cities in the
world. We also aim to include free time for shopping!

Included in the price of the trip will be all transport costs, three nights in a hotel in Paris,
breakfast at the hotel, packed lunches and evening meals at restaurants in Paris, a collective
passport, insurance, all entrance fees and a personalised hoodie.
The cost of the trip is £360 to include everything outlined above. To reserve a place, please
return the deposit and attached paperwork no later than Friday 11th November. There are
40 places available that will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please note all
amounts paid are non refundable unless the trip does not run.

Friday 11th November - £75
Friday 9th December - £95
