The Mystical Land of Nepal and Its Natural Bounties

Nepal is a land of mountains. Out of ten highest summits, the country is blessed with eight
highest peaks of the world. With the world highest mountain ranges and spectacular scenic
beauty this small landlocked country is nestled on the foothills of Himalayas sandwiched in
between the two giants China and India. The home of the towering Mount Everest, the highest
point in the planet is worth a visit in a life time.



Nepal Tourism offers a wide range of tourist attractions that you will never ever forget. Pay

historic temples of the nature blessed country are the Bodnath stupa- a holy site of Buddhists.
The place is one of the World Heritage Site declared by the UNESCO. This place has an aura
that brings you peace and tranquillity as you walk around the stupa spinning the prayer
wheels that line the stupa. The atmosphere resonates with the calming sounds of the monks
chanting prayers and the fluttering of the prayer flags that fly above the great stupa. Almost
every time after a shower from the clouds a rainbow is formed above the stupa which is a
grand sight to see.



Bhaktapur is filled with Hindu and Buddhist religious sites and art. Although the population is
primarily Hindu, there are nineteen Buddhist monasteries. Bhaktapur is known for ancient
temples, colourful festivals and skilled craftsmen.



Bhaktapur Tourism has plays a major role in maintaining the goodwill of the place and
converted into a most sought after tourist destination. The population of Bhaktapur consists of
the Newari group and by their customs and traditions, cuisines you can call the places a “City
of Culture”. Some of the interesting places to visit in Bhaktapur are the Potter’s Square, Dubar
Square, Taumadhi Square, Surya Binayak and others.



Bhaktapur means “City of Devotees”; the city is one of the World Heritage Site declared by the
UNESCO. It is located at the distance of about fourteen kilometres from the Kathmandu the
capital city of Nepal. The city is known for its pagoda styled temples, wood carving artists and
the local markets. The conch shell shaped city was formed in the 9 th century and it is one of
the pilgrimage sites of the country.



The most unique feature of the landlocked country is the Nepal Everest Flight. The flight
takes you above the Himalayas and you can catch the glimpse of the long line of ranges and
from the window of the plane. A ride of two hours and you will be a completely new person
after the tour over the Everest. Fly above the clouds and just below is the Himalayas and the
Deccan Plateau. Come and experience of the aerial view of the Mountain ranges which leaves
you speechless.



The diverse culture, cuisine, sightseeing and the smiling people of Nepal will definitely spell
bound you. But we should also take in mind the environment factor, the scenario of Global
Warming has resulted a change in the climatic conditions. The ice on the Himalayas is melting
at a rapid rate so we are the one who should take initiatives. Save the Himalayas so that the
coming future can appreciate the beauty of the mountains.
