Achievements and Awards
    Prepared “VISION-2011”, a vision paper Benchmarking Plan for the Institute which
      is under implementation.
    Prepared “VISION-2005”, a vision paper Benchmarking Plan for the Institute which
      has been implemented and results are achieved more than the targeted.
    Launched successfully "Post Graduate Diploma in Insurance & Risk Management"
      (both Full Time and Part Time), a sectoral programme of its own kind in the whole
      country.
    Designed and developed ‘Post Graduate Diploma in Retailing & Merchandising
      Management’, and provided leadership to make it a success story for higher education
      in India.
    Achieved 400 per cent growth in annual income with less than 100 percent increase in
      expenditures.
    Developed a new curriculum for PGDM with the help of the industry experts and the
      academia.
    Organized an AICTE sponsored three-week National Training Programme for
      Management Teachers in November 2000.
    Organized an ISTE and AICTE sponsored Short Term Training for Management
      Faculty on “Emerging Trends in Finance” in July 2001.
    Instituted the “BIMTECH – TOP RANKERS’ Professional Excellence Awards”
      which were first time distributed on September, 2001.
    Organized an AICTE sponsored National Seminar on the topic of "Changing
      Perspective of Human Resource Management” in New Delhi, April 2002.
    Headed BIMTECH in the top 50 business schools of the country from 176 an year
      before.
    Entered in the league of the Top 25 business schools of India in 2004 under private
      business schools.
    Achieved a bold entry to the Top league of 15 best business schools of the country in
      2005 and consistently keeping in the league including 2007.
    Started 3 research journals in different areas of business education and guided them to
      achieve international repute.
    Founded and established Indian Marketing Summit as a forum for debate of
      international practices in the marketing and new business. Making this an annual
      event for interaction of academia and industry for the best results.
