• WHAT IS PLASTICS?
• Plastic is a synthetic polymer which consist
  monomers that combine togather to form
  new molecule known as polymer

• Plastic is from by the process of
  polymerisation of monomers from petroleum
  or natural gas.

Classify of Plastics

             Thermoplastics
• Plastic that cannot withstand heat.
• Consist of molecules without cross links between
  their polymers.
• The molecular structure easy slide over when
  heated.
• Soft when heated and can be mould repeatly.
• Can be recycle to form new substances.
• Example: polythene, perspex, PVC, polystyrene

• Heat resistance plastics
• Have cross link between their polymers
• Cross link prevent them from sliding over one
  another when heated.
• Can be moulded once only and cannot be
  recycle.
