Liquid or spray mist may produce tissue damage particularly on mucous membranes of eyes, mouth and respiratory tract. Inhalation Hazardous in case of inhalation. Liquid or spray mist may produce tissue damage particularly on mucous membranes of eyes, mouth and respiratory tract. Inhalation of the spray mist may produce severe irritation of respiratory tract, characterized by coughing, choking, or shortness of breath. Can cause central nervous system depression. Symptoms and signs include headaches, dizziness, fatigue, muscular weakness, drowsiness and, in extreme cases, loss of consciousness. Ingestion May be fatal if swallowed. May cause burns to mouth, throat and stomach. May cause headache, nausea, vomiting, pain, weakness, dizziness, gastrointestinal, irritation, convulsions, respiratory failure, central nervous system depression, unconsciousness, and may be fatal. The substance may be toxic to blood, kidneys, lungs, the nervous system, liver, heart, spleen, digestive Chronic Effects system, central nervous system (CNS), pancreas. Repeated or prolonged exposure to the substance can produce target organs damage. Repeated or prolonged contact with spray mist may produce chronic eye irritation and severe skin irritation. Repeated or prolonged exposure to spray mist may produce respiratory tract irritation leading to frequent attacks of bronchial infection.

Section 5. Fire Fighting Measures Flammable Limits Not applicable Not applicable Flash Point Non-flammable Flammability Not available. Auto-ignition Temperature Wear special protective clothing and positive pressure, self-contained breathing apparatus. Cool Fire-Fighting Procedures containing vessels with water jet in order to prevent pressure build-up, autoignition or explosion. If involved in a fire, toxic gases including CO, CO2 and smoke can be generated. Fire will produce Fire Hazard dense black smoke. Products of Combustion Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, Hydrogen Chloride (HCl), Chlorine and Phosgene Gas. Not available. Explosion hazard Section 6. Accidental Release Measures Spill Clean up Eliminate all ignition sources. Put on appropriate personal protective equipment (see Section 8). Absorb with an inert material and put the spilled material in an appropriate waste disposal. To clean the floor and all objects contaminated by this material, use detergent. Finish cleaning by spreading water on the contaminated surface and dispose of according to local and regional authority requirements. Section 7. Handling and Storage Handle and open container with care. Loosen closure cautiously before opening. Do not immerse parts that are Handling hot. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid breathing vapors or spray mists. Wash contaminated clothing before reusing. Wash thoroughly after handling. Keep container tightly closed and dry. Keep container in a cool, well-ventilated area. Keep away from food, Storage drink and animal feeding stuffs. Do not store above 38°C Keep out of the reach of children. Section 8. Exposure Controls, Personal Protection Engineering Controls Provide exhaust ventilation or other engineering controls to keep the airborne concentrations of vapors below their respective occupational exposure limits. Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are proximal to the work-station location. Personal Protection Protective Clothing (Pictograms) Splash goggles. Face shield. Eyes Hands and Body Butyl rubber gloves. Chemical resistant apron. Chemical resistant boots. Respiratory Use with adequate ventilation. Provide exhaust ventilation or other engineering controls to keep the airborne concentrations of vapors below their respective occupational exposure limits.
