Important information for filling up the compliance report
 The institution is required to submit two copies of the Compliance Report as per
 prescribed format along with mandatory disclosure to the concerned Regional Office
 latest by 31st August 2010.

 The Compliance Report should be submitted alongwith a processing fee of
 Rs. 50,000/- in the form of demand draft in the favour of Member Secretary, AICTE,
 payable at New Delhi. The compliance reports without the processing fee will not be
 accepted.

 The information in the compliance report should be filled up strictly as per the
 prescribed format. Compliance Reports with incomplete information will not be
 accepted.

 All the annexures should be indexed with page numbers and signed by the authorized
 signatory of the institution.

                                                                        which has been functioning from 1968 and has been
                                                                        approved for the purpose of Aid by the Director of
                                                                        Collegiate Education (Proceedings RC No.
                                                                        77999/32/69 dated 7.10.69). The institution has
                                                                        been receiving aid from the Government of
                                                                        Tamilnadu for all the courses (UG and PG including
                                                                        Master of Computer Applications(started in 1988-
                                                                        1989) (copy enclosed) (GRANT-IN-AID)
2.             Faculty                                                  As for as the nomination of the Principal is
               (a)                                                      concerned, we are to clarify that the present
               Principal / Director is not eligible as per AICTE        incumbent has put in more than Two decades of
               norms. Principal experienced and qualified as            service with good administration and academic

          In addition to the “talk and chalk” method for teaching assignments, seminars, guest lecturers are arranged
          using the various audio visual aids. The syllabus is updated every year to include the latest subjects which
          offer high employable potential for the students. Alumni regularly interact with the students about needs of
          the industry.

                  To increase the employability of the students, aptitude tests are conducted on all working days.
          GDs and mock interviews are also conducted.

                  The students have a large number of practical papers (two practical papers per semester). They
          also undergo two mini projects in the Second and Third year of study to get them a first hand experience in
          software development. In the sixth semester, students undergo project training of six months duration in
          reputed companies.

                  In the first year, Students learn “Communicative English” as an additional paper for improving the
          communication skills.

                  Extra credit course on “Hardware Maintenance & Troubleshooting”, “Network Maintenance &
          Administration”, “Internet & Web Page Design”, “Flash” and “Photoshop” are offered by the Department.

                  Institution develops software for its needs. The Examination work, Office work, College website,
          Online testing software, Library management software and student counselling and admission software
          have been developed by our M.C.A. Students.
