Lake Arrowhead Village – Attractions Galore!

Lake Arrowhead Village offers attractions for every age group. With the newly
remodeled Lake Arrowhead Children’s Museum, a brand new playground, the
Arrowhead Queen and Princess boat tours, the McKenzie Water Ski School, Family Go-
Carts and weekend entertainment – there is sure to be something for everyone beyond the
shopping and dining that the Village is known for.

The Lake Arrowhead Children’s Museum is open from 10am – 6pm, seven days a week
during the summer. Their winter hours are 10am – 5pm, seven days a week weather
permitting. Offering over 25 educational hands-on exhibits, educational programs,
summer camp, field trips and birthday parties, children 2 – 12 and their parents can
explore and discover together. Admission prices – 1 and under free, 2 – 12 are $5.00
each and ages 13 and up are $4.00 each. For more information on the museum visit
www.mountaininfo.com/kids.

The Lake Arrowhead Village just completed a brand new playground at the Festival Area
of the Peninsula. Featuring 2 play structures and a new swing set. Toddlers can enjoy
playing in an area designed especially for them, while older children have their own
equipment to play on. Complete with benches for parents to sit and watch their children
overlooking beautiful Lake Arrowhead - it doesn’t get much better than this!

The Arrowhead Queen allows visitors to experience the beauty and excitement of Lake
Arrowhead aboard a 60-seat paddle wheel tour boat. Cruise past architectural points of
interest and historical sites on a one-hour cruise with colorful narration from the captain.
The Queen operates daily, but you must call (909) 336-6992 for departure times. Prices
are $11.00 for adults, $7.50 for children 3 – 11 and $10.00 for seniors.
Complementing the Arrowhead Queen is the Arrowhead Princess. A custom Garwood
wooden boat zips passengers around the lake for a truly unique experience. Built
especially for Lake Arrowhead, the Princess celebrates days gone by when the lake was
full of classic wooden boats. The Princess operates seasonally. Call (909) 336-6992 for
departure times. Prices are $12.00 per adult, $10.00 per senior and $7.00 for children
3 - 11.

For those wishing to learn to water ski or for those just wanting to water ski on Lake
Arrowhead, McKenzie Water Ski School is the place to go. Operating the oldest water
ski school in the nation (well over 50 years in existence), the McKenzie family has taught
thousands to water ski. Open 7 days a week during the summer, prices for water ski
lessons are $45.00. 2-mile tows, wake board lessons and hourly charters are also
available. Call the ski school at (909) 337-3814 for more information or visit their
website at www.mckenzieskischool.com

The newest attraction to the Lake Arrowhead Village is the Family Go-Carts. Children 7
years old and up can drive the sandy track on the Dockside Beach in miniature trucks all
by themselves. Suitable for adults too! Hours of operation are Monday through Friday
12:00 pm – dusk and Saturday and Sunday 10:00 am – dusk. Price is $4.50 for 5
minutes.

Each weekend the Lake Arrowhead Village hosts free entertainment. Featuring strolling
musicians, clowns making balloon animals, children’s arts and crafts, a bounce house and
concerts - the Village is alive with things to do and enjoy. For a list of weekly
entertainment visit www.lakearrowheadvillage.com.
