BOULDER CITY HOSPITAL ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH
AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY
NEW CANCER RESOURCE CENTER TO OPEN IN BOULDER CITY
(Boulder City, NV) – Monday, May 4, 2009 - Boulder City Hospital is pleased to announce a new partnership
with the American Cancer Society. Beginning May 5 , the Hospital will host a Cancer Resource Center in the
Hospital’s Foundation office located at 999 Adams Boulevard, Suite 106. The Cancer Resource Center will
provide the most up-to-date cancer-related information to cancer patients, their loved ones and those
concerned about cancer. The Resource Center will be staffed by highly trained volunteers who are dedicated
to assisting patients and their families, and will offer at no cost such items as wigs, bras, breast prostheses,
hats and scarves.
“The Hospital is excited to bring this much-needed resource to Boulder City”, says Boulder City Hospital
Administrator Thomas Maher. “Boulder City Hospital and the American Cancer Society are committed to
providing access to high quality healthcare services in the communities we serve. This collaboration will
leverage our collective resources and provide tremendous value to our residents.”
The Cancer Resource Center will be available in Boulder City every other Tuesday, beginning May 5 . Please

The American Cancer Society’s annual Relay For Life of Boulder City will take place at Boulder City High
School along their track & field beginning Friday, May 15 at 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday, May 16. Cancer
survivors and caregivers are invited to walk the first lap of Relay, The Victory Lap. To form a team or
participate in the overnight event, call 1-800-ACS-2345.
