American singer and dancer. She is also an actor and song writer. She has
got a brother Bryan and sister Jamie Lynn who is also a successful actress
and singer. As a child, Britney was an excellent gymnast. She won many
gymnastic competitions. She also performed at dancing shows. When she
was eight years old a priest suggested her for the Mickey Mouse Club
competition. Here she met with young Justin Timberlake and Christina
Aguilera.
Her most famous albums are: Baby One More Time and Oops!...I Did It
Again.
She decided to become a mother at the age of 23. She did not perform
much after she had her two kids. Soon after her second child was born,
Britney divorced and started having serious problems with drugs and
alcohol. She has been to many rehabs. One night she escaped and asked a
hairdresser to cut her hair. The hairdresser refused, so Britney shaved her
head completely all by herself.
Britney says Madonna had a great influence on her performance carrer. She
was also inspired by Janet Jackson and Michael Jackson.
Britney has starred in a couple of episodes of the show How I Met Your
Mother and she also had her Glee episode. Currently she is touring with her
latest 7th album Femme Fatale.
