JUNIORS & SENIORS
JUNIOR/SENIOR NIGHT: Will be at 5:00 p.m. on January 10th in the Swim Gym. This is the showdown between ’09 & ’08, so let’s get ready to
rumble! Don’t forget to buy Jr./Sr. Night apparel.
WEST L.A. COLLEGE: Registration for Speech 101-Oral Communication and Psychology 1 – General Psychology continues. The two courses from
West L.A. College will be offered at the high school on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:00- 5:50 p.m. beginning February 12th and ending around
May 29th. Both courses are transferable to four year colleges/universities. If you are interested in taking one of the courses, pick up a registration
form from your counselor or in House C, and have it signed by your counselor and your parent prior to the registration. If interested see Mr. Angel
Viramontes, in the Career Center, Mondays from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. or see Mrs. Hale in House C. Juniors and Seniors have priority for enrolling
in the college-level courses. Freshmen cannot apply and only a select few Sophomores can apply with counselor approval.
SENIOR APPAREL: Is being sold. Go to the Student Store to buy your American Apparel sweatshirts for $30 & headbands for $5.
SENIOR YEARBOOK PANORAMIC PICTURE: Will be taken on Wednesday, January 9th at 9:00 a.m. on the Athletic Field. Mark your
calendar now & remind all your friends. Be prompt or you’ll be left out of the photo!
WELCOME BACK NORMANS!: There are only 3 weeks left in the semester and then we have our WINTER FORMAL YACHT DANCE!!! Tickets are on
sale all this week so be sure to get them before they sell out.
PERSONAL STAGE ASSISTANT NEEDED: for KBEV-TV Show Host: Experienced in make-up. Will give professional training on stage assisting. A
great opportunity to enhance your skills for a TV or theatre stage position. Receive community service credit. Work Thursdays after school. Contact

TBCA: Anyone who wants to contribute artwork, poems, stories, photography, messages, collages, or tributes to someone special, submit these pieces by
January 10th to Jessica Jacobs. The pieces you submit must be one page length & follow the theme of courage. For more details contact the Teen Breast

ASB NOMINATIONS: All students interested in running for an ASB position MUST ATTEND A MANDATORY INFORMATIONAL MEETING at lunch on
January 7th or 8th. If you do not attend, you will not be able to run for Spring ’08 ASB.
HELP ADULT SCHOOL STUDENTS: To find their class rooms when you return to school on January 7th - 10th. Receive community service
credits. Work from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Sign-up in the Career Center or see Ms. Wilder.
PSAT: If you took the PSAT in October please join The Princeton Review in room 300 on Thursday, January 10th at lunch. They will explain the
test and offer some tips and advice.

FOUND: Two ‘orange fever’ bags with gym clothes. One silver/gray bag with BEVERLY on it, with gym clothes. Come to Attendance Office to claim.
