Description:

us to deliver quality assurance services to our clients and their stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
   • Recognize potential audit issues or unusual relationships from basic analysis of the financial statements
       and communicate them to the team. Clearly and accurately document the execution of specific audit
       procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, client's engagement history, and planned audit
       approach. Challenge procedures used in the past and attempt to enhance audit techniques.
   • Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client's environment. Maintain a strong client focus,
       be responsive to client requests, and develop/maintain productive working relationships with client
       personnel. Stay informed of current business/economic developments relevant to the client's business.
   • Develop people through teamwork, integrity, and leadership. Collaborate with team members to set goals
       and responsibilities. Contribute ideas/opinions to the audit teams and listen/respond to other team members'
       views.
   • Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.
   • Bring potential opportunities to the team's attention. Seek, develop, and present ideas to apply EY's
       services and bring value to clients.

2) Ernst & Young LLP
Tax Advisory Services
Full-Time Positions & Internships (both Spring and Summer)
Locations: Chicago, Denver, Des Moines, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, St. Louis

Description:
As a member of the Ernst & Young Tax Advisory team, Intern and Staff professionals will create and deliver
strategies that maximize our clients' tax savings and are consistent with our clients' overall business and investment
plans. The successful candidate will gain meaningful exposure to our business as an integral member of our client
services team and will have tremendous opportunities for learning and career development.

Responsibilities:
Contribute to client satisfaction by providing timely and effective responses to client needs and concerns. Develop
and deliver timely and high-quality services and work products. Learn about and research complex tax issues and
develop practical and creative tax savings solutions. Participate in client meetings and work within a team
environment to deliver fully integrated advisory services to clients.

Demonstrate an understanding of basic tax concepts and actively pursue increased tax knowledge through client
assignments and current tax developments.
3) Ernst & Young LLP
Technology & Security Risk Services
Full-Time Positions & Internships
Locations: Chicago, Denver, Des Moines, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, St. Louis

Within EY's Technology & Security Risk Services practice, we are currently seeking Staff & Intern professionals to
serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams that assist clients in employing proper information systems,
resources, and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk. The Intern will work with client personnel to
analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems facilitating the business internal control process. The successful
candidate will assist clients and other IT Auditor professionals in performing information technology control and
security engagements, as well as in performing audits of financial statements and other attest services.

Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate an understanding of the client's platform structure, security software used, and how information
systems are used at the client and within the client's industry.
• Execute procedures, perform detailed data analysis, reach conclusions, document results, and suggest ideas for
efficiencies.
• Recognize relevant financial statement issues from basic analysis and identify potential non-compliance with
standards.
• Maintain relationships with the client at appropriate levels.
• Demonstrate teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members; stay abreast of the current IT
environment and industry IT trends relevant to client's business, and use current technology/tools to enhance the
effectiveness of deliverables and service.

Summer Leadership Program (SLP) 2009
Locations: Chicago, Denver, Des Moines, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, St. Louis

The Ernst & Young Summer Leadership Program (SLP) is an exciting two-day program that invites top students
who are interested in pursuing future internship or full-time positions with our Assurance, Business Risk Services,
Technology & Security Risk Services, or Tax practices to participate in our program.

The SLP allows participants to explore the unique career opportunities that Ernst & Young offers to top accounting
students from area colleges and universities. During the SLP, students will have opportunities to develop their
professional and personal skills by getting to know EY professionals, participating in teambuilding and leadership
activities, and enjoying social activities. Students will also have the opportunity to visit the local office and see the
unique Ernst & Young culture first hand.

5) Ernst & Young LLP
Business Risk Services (BRS)
Full-Time Positions & Internships
Location: Chicago & Minneapolis
Description:
Our Business Risk Services (BRS) practice, a specialty advisory practice within Assurance & Advisory
Business Services, provides comprehensive risk services through a suite of strategic, outsourcing, and
industry-focused operational solutions that help companies around the world evaluate and enhance their
internal audit and risk management functions. BRS seeks a consummate team player with a strong work
ethic and excellent professional skills to be a BRS Staff. This professional will perform internal audit
work under the direction of the internal audit management team and in accordance with the client's audit
plan and risk management strategy.

Responsibilities:
Work with high-growth clients and other market leaders in industries such as retail, consumer products,
financial services, insurance and health sciences. Perform audit procedures; create work products such as
audit analyses, correspondence and engagement documentation; test processes and related controls; assist
in the implementation of the audit approach and participate in the development of internal audit
deliverables.

Maintain a strong client focus by serving client needs and developing relationships with client personnel.
Stay abreast of current business/economic developments relevant to the client's business. Respect and
protect confidential client information.

Display teamwork, integrity, and leadership. Support colleagues and value others' contributions.

Business Advisor Program (Financial Services Office)
Full-Time Positions
Location: Kansas City
Majors: Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or related business discipline

Description:
Ernst & Young LLP’s Financial Services Office Advisory Practices focuses on meeting the needs of financial
institutions including commercial banks, investment banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, insurance companies,
and energy trading companies by providing integrated business improvement services. They deliver these services
across areas such as risk management, treasury, accounting, securitization, regulatory compliance, finance,
operations and internal audit. These services help global institutions to evaluate and enhance their businesses in the
dynamic competitive marketplace.

Staff Advisor Responsibilities:
The Business Advisor Program facilitates opportunities to work on engagements across multiple advisory service
offerings during the first four years in the program. After approximately four years, our employees then select an
area of concentration.

Business Advisor Program professionals typically work with Ernst & Young engagement teams to assist our clients
in areas such as:
• The measurement and management of market, credit, and operational risk; asset-liability exposures; economic
capital; accounting advisory and implementation services; and supervisory/regulatory risk and compliance.
• Assessing the risks associated with various client derivatives and other transactions
• Improving the effectiveness and design of their operations, finance, and accounting functions.
• Evaluating and enhancing their internal audit functions as well as the overall control environment of the institution
by providing industry-focused strategic, outsourcing, and operations offerings.
• Assisting in project management processes, controls, and procedures to enable project delivery.
• Raising capital and managing risk relating to structured finance transactions, including: Commercial Mortgage-
Backed Securities, Asset-Backed Securities, Collateralized Debt Obligations and Residential Mortgage-Backed
