Description
Implementing MSA2000 Storage Solutions: This instructor–led training course introduces the student to the HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Array (MSA) 2012fc and 2012i. This course focuses on implementing and managing an MSA SAN solution. The student gains an understanding of the features, benefits, and components of each of the systems and learns the main considerations for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting the systems. The student also learns to use the various tools and utilities available for configuring and managing the array systems. Hands-on laboratories are included to correlate with the classroom materials. Implementing EVA4400 Solutions: This is a Delta course for certified AIS 2005 students. It is therefore assumed that students are already familiar with the previous EVA generation, Command View EVA, SSSU, WEBES and RSM. The course emphasis on the differences with the previous generations, the new introduced functionalities / tools such as SmartStart EVA, Dynamic Capacity Management and the new hardware. It is suggested either to do a demo or the following labs: • “Using HP SmartStart for EVA Storage” – Highly recommended as many related slides (mainly screenshots) have been removed. • “Using the Web-based OCP” • From “Installing and Using Replication Solutions Manager”, the section “Configuring Dynamic Capacity Management”.
