you to the Seventh Annual Anesthesia Billing and Management
Seminar. As you can see from the enclosed program, we have
gathered some of the finest experts in the field of anesthesia
billing and management to address some of the bottom line issues
that will help each of you better manage your practice. We have
again chosen the fabulous Rio Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas
to be the host for this year’s program. Please join us in April for a

Upon completion of this course, the participants should be able to:
   1. Understand anesthesia billing compliance issues,
      including the main compliance risk areas for anesthesia
      practices,
   2. Better understand billing and coding for anesthesia,
      obstetrics, and pain management services,
   3. Recognize the importance of having sound group
      contracts with managed care organizations,
   4. Gain practical skills and ideas on how to use information
      technology to improve anesthesia record documentation
      and billing company charge capture,
   5. Improve group management in the areas of provider
      compensation, group staffing, financial reporting and
      contract negotiations,
   6. Better understand how pay for performance will affect
      anesthesia groups in the future.
Registration
The fee is $675 prior to March 1, $725 after March 1. Fees include the course syllabus,
full buffet breakfasts and refreshment breaks. The optional lunches are $45 each.
Checks should be made payable to The University of Chicago. $100 will be deducted for
administrative expenses should you cancel your registration. There will be no refunds after
March 23, 2006.
