From the Treasurer.

Thank you so much for those of you who have responded to our plea for prompt
payments. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about what you
still owe or what is in your student account balances.

I willl be posting the Applebees fundraising proceeds on Friday. I will then
forward the new student account balances to Dr. Miller to be posted.

If you plan on using your student account balance to pay remaining fees, please try
to get that to me in writing. I will take phone messages, but I prefer it in e-mail
format so both you and I have a record of it.
Also, a huge thank you to Ida Levine who has been scrambling behind the scenes
to take care of copying all the checks and making deposits for me. It is a huge task
that should not go unnoticed.

Silent Auction.
   • Silent Auction/Big Band Benefit will be held on November 30th.
   • Do you have something to donate? Does your company have any items to
donate? Do you have any special homemade items to donate? Do you have a
good connection with a particular merchant to get a special donation? Items big
or small will be gratefully accepted.
   • Please consider making a donation or purchasing an ad for the program.
   • Contact Karen Kinde (402-8310) or Sharon Ritter (239-9007) to make a
donation or to see where you can help!

Parents and Students, consider making a donation to our Nov. 30th silent auction by
obtaining items from your employer, neighbor, friend, family, self, etc.. Nothing is
too small or too big in size or value. Some items will be displayed by itself and
others packaged together for a themed effect. Items can be homemade, (donate
a homemade dinner to deliver, dessert of the month, special cookie platter),
or handmade crafts (painting, drawing, woodcrafts, decorations, quilts, jewelry,
etc.). Think of teaming up with one or more families to host a party for 8 at a
given location, or donating a dinner and movie passes for 4. Keep in mind that a
tax deductable receipt will be given. Contact Carol Jensen sjensen6@kc.rr.com
or 913-685-9073 with any questions and donations. All donations need to be
received by Nov. 1. Thank you in advance to make this a very success event!
