     Olympic Hopefuls Display their Talent at the Nation’s Premier
    Gymnastics Event, LA Lights Rhythmic Gymnastics Invitational,
                 January 21-24, 2010 in Los Angeles

Endorsed by the USA Gymnastics Federation, this is the last qualifying tournament in the
        U.S that showcases gymnasts competing in the 2010 Beijing Olympics

Los Angeles, CA – January 7, 2009 - LA Lights Rhythmic Gymnastics Invitational,
which is the nation’s largest annual rhythmic gymnastics event, will be held from January
21st to January 24th at the Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium in Culver City, California.

Last year more than 1,500 fans came to the event and more than 250,000 viewers tuned in
for its cable television broadcast. This year, even a larger amount of registered athletes is
anticipated, including the top 10 athletes from the World Championships held in Mie,

Following the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China, this event, which is sponsored by
the Los Angeles School of Gymnastics, a top notch international gymnastics training
center will host more than 400 of the world’s most diverse and competitive athletes in
rhythmic gymnastics. Participants are expected from a wide variety of countries including
Mexico, Russia, Japan, Israel, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, USA and many more.

The L.A Lights Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament of Champions is the only opportunity
for fans in the United States to see some of the top international rhythmic gymnasts who
are expected to represent their country at the 2012 Olympic Games in Rio De Jenero.
This will guarantee a great display of dedicated Olympic hopefuls eager to show
spectators their amazing talents.

Some Highlight Athletes:
Bessonova is the number-one gymnast in Ukraine. She recently struck Gold at the 2008
XXIX Olympiad in Beijing. China. Her mother is a two-time world champion in group
rhythmic gymnastics and her father is a famous soccer player. Bessonova finished third
at the 2004 Olympic Games and was a medal contender for the 2008 Olympic Games.

Additional athletes that have paved the way for the all-star line-up are Inna Zhukova,
Olympic silver medalist from Belarus and Euvgenia Kanaeva, Olympic gold medalist
from Russia. USA National Team members adorn the competition arena competing for
the All-around title of 2010 LA Lights Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament of Champions
competition winner.
U.S. athletes competing in the invitational are 2009 World Championships Team
members Julie Zetlin, and Ava Gehringer. Local gymnasts include Danielle Johnson
and Rachel Girma, both gymnasts from Los Angeles who train at the Los Angeles
School of Gymnastics.

The gymnasts’ skills and ability to perform are spectacular to watch but behind their
amazing talent lay dedicated competitors who strive to be the best that they can be. Their
