Nashik’s newest culinary destination- Soma!
Nashik, 14th September, 2010: Who says that wine doesn’t pair with Indian food? Sula’s newest culinary
destination proved quite the contrary. At Soma, their new Indian restaurant nestled in the lush
vineyards, they suggest the perfect pairing of Sula wines with succulent Indian fare.
Every recipe on the menu is created by Soma’s own chef – Kalra, whose family has been tantalizing
Nasikites’ taste-buds for decades. The menu has evolved through culinary skills passed down through
Mr. Pradeep Pachpatil, VP- Winery Operations- Sula Vineyards welcomed guests and discussed Soma
as well as the upcoming Resort with them. Mr. Ajoy Shaw- Chief Winemaker and GM- Winemaking,
Sula Vineyards conducted a tasting session of Rasa which is a limited collector’s edition wine recently
launched by Sula.
Guests enjoyed delicious hot shorbas while sipping on some wine and nibbling on a selection of grilled
appetizers. They were spoilt for choice with a variety of delectable curries, rotis and biryanis. The day
ended with a toast and guests planning their next visit to Soma already.
