                               Dubrovnik Welcomes 150 Tourism Professionals
to the 1st Annual “New Europe Travel Mart (NETM).”
                                1,377 Business Appointments Pre-Scheduled.

(Jacksonville, Florida & Dubrovnik, Croatia) International Event Management Firm William H.
Coleman, Inc. and the Dubrovnik Tourist Board are welcoming 150 Leisure Travel “Buyers” and
“Suppliers” to the 1st annual New Europe Travel Mart (NETM) at the Radisson Blu Resort &
Spa, April 13-15. This new annual tourism sales/business development event is designed to
increase leisure travel to the region that includes the Baltic to the Balkans, and is increasingly
referred to as “New Europe.”

The New Europe Travel Mart (NETM) features a unique three (3) day “pre-scheduled
appointments” format that the Coleman organization has successfully applied in other global
tourism destinations for almost forty (40) years. 62 “Buyers” of Leisure Travel services from
global markets will meet 66 senior sales and marketing executives representing “Supplier”
organizations from the “New Europe” region. The Coleman NETM system has already pre-
scheduled 1,377 twenty (20) minute personal appointments in Supplier booth/offices during the
two (2) days of business sessions. 561 of these appointments are “Perfect Match” appointments
when both Buyers and Suppliers have requested to meet each other; 307 of the appointments are
“Buyer Requests;” and 509 are “Supplier Requests.”

“Buyers” are “decision makers” from companies and organizations that can “ contract and book”
group, FIT, and special interest travel products from markets in the USA, the United Kingdom,
Canada, Chile, France, Poland, Russia, Spain, Sweden, and Venezuela. The Brazil Airline TAM
worked with William H. Coleman, Inc. to bring a large group of Buyers from Brazil, one of the
fastest growing tourism markets in the world.

“Suppliers” are experienced sales executives who are prepared to make commitments
representing hotels, airlines, cruise companies, receptive operators, car rental firms, attractions,
resorts, tourist boards, city and convention bureaus, and promotional organizations from Croatia,
Albania, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovenia, Montenegro, Lithuania, and

The host destination for this first ever NETM is Dubrovnik, Croatia, famed for its historic “Old
Town” and beautiful clear blue sea vistas. The NETM ’11 Host Hotel is the recently completed
Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Dubrovnik Sun Gardens. All business sessions are being held in the
Radisson Blu Convention Center.

Buyers made a significant financial investment to attend including paying a US$175 Registration
Fee plus arranging their own air transportation. Buyer Registration fees include three (3) nights
single room accommodations at the Radisson Blu, round-trip airport transfers, all business
sessions with pre-scheduled appointments, all official hosted social functions, and ground

Suppliers paid a US$975 (685 Euros) that include a 3m X 2m booth/office with table, 4 chairs,
sign, and power outlet; all business sessions including pre-scheduled appointments with Buyers;
all official hosted social functions; round-trip airport transfers; ground transportation; and special
discounted hotel rates at the Radisson Blu. Suppliers were discouraged from building elaborate
stand/displays since the Registration Fees include everything they need for their pre-scheduled

One of the important reasons Dubrovnik was selected as the inaugural venue was the strong
support NETM received from the Dubrovnik Tourist Board. The Dubrovnik Tourist Board
joined the Croatian National Tourist Board and the Dubrovnik & Neretva County Tourist Board
(Dubrovnik-Riviera & Islands), to become the official NETM’11 Host. Jelka Tepsic, DTB
Director, stated: “We are pleased to join with our Croatia Travel Industry colleagues to host this
outstanding group of tourism professionals in Dubrovnik. We believe this will help us all to
promote Dubrovnik and Croatia, and to also focus attention on ‘New Europe.’ We are confident
these next few days will be a productive and enjoyable experience.”

The event organizers invested several years of market research before launching this inaugural
New Europe Travel Mart ’11 in Dubrovnik. Irma Coleman, President & CEO of William H.
Coleman, Inc. said: “We are very pleased that so many dedicated and professional Buyers and
Suppliers have made the investments in time and money to attend this ‘first ever” NETM’11.
This is a wonderful beginning for what we believe will be a successful and valuable event for
many years.”

The recently opened Radisson Blu Resort & Spa has the space and convention center facilities to
host the NETM ’11 delegates and activities. Zoran Cas, Leisure Sales Manager, said: “Our
Radisson Blu Team is delighted to have this opportunity to not just ‘show’ our property, but to
be a part of launching what we believe will be a positive business development opportunity for
Dubrovnik, Croatia, and the ‘New Europe’ Region.”
