Olympic Schedule Powered By Docstoc
					               MK EVENTING UNAFFILIATED 3DE
This event emulates the greats of Burghley and Badminton and for 2012 the
OLYMPICS. Run on the long format this event still boasts road and tracks as well
as the exciting steeplechase phases. Considered to be the ultimate test of horse and
rider the event sees horses turned out to a very high standard with good fitness
produced over weeks or even months of work.(On endurance day horses must work
hard for 11-12km approx 1 hour). The dressage test demonstrates the horses
obedience and suppleness whilst the endurance day is just that, a test of stamina
and fitness. The final day of show-jumping proves a horses all round capability as
well as the riders nerves.

With over 200 horses stabled on site together with their human counterparts it makes
for a big party. A mess tent with full catering and entertainment makes the centre
of the shopping village. While toilets and hot showers make the weekend hospitable.

Lots of information is available to help you prepare for the event and to get the
maximum out of the experience.

Many riders dream of competing in a 3DE, now is your chance to really experience it
to the full. The courses at MK Eventing are some of the best in the country and are
guaranteed to give riders of all levels a great ride and a truly Olympic experience.

This is one of the best fixtures in the diary of eventing, these will probably be 4 of the
best days of your life. Challenges will be met, prizes will be collected. The winner
could be you!

The Team Event follows Olympic principles where 4 Riders compete ( you can ride in
any class so long as you meet the restriction) but only the top 3 scores count. (we
will accept teams of 3 riders ). To ensure equality all team dressage tests will be
judged by a pair of judges. Those also competing as an individual will perform their
test again for their class judge.
