We are highly motivated, passionate, and experienced marching percussionists who
are interested in writing the battery percussion score for your competitive or non-
competitive high school marching band program.

We both currently teach and write for Bayard Rustin High School in West Chester,
PA. Last fall, we were undefeated in the percussion caption, including winning High
Percussion at USSBA 2 Open Nationals and Cavalcade 2 A Championships.

Experience: We have marched together in the same DCI ensembles from 2008-
2011 including Blue Stars (2011), Crossmen (2010), Jersey Surf (2008-2009). Also
we have both participated in the WGI ensemble United Percussion: Eric (2009-
2011) and Brad (2012).
Brad Schoener is a junior currently attending West Chester University. He is
pursuing a degree in both Music Education and Percussion Performance. Brad has
been center-snare and section leader for the West Chester Golden Rams Marching
Band Drumline for the last two years.

Eric Smith is a senior currently attending Temple University and is the snare
technician for the Jersey Surf Drum and Bulge Corps.

2012 season.

The Ephrata High School Marching Unit is seeking a Colorguard Caption Head for the
2012 season.

Candidates should have a strong background in modern color guard techniques including
flags, rifles, sabres, body-work and dance. Candidates should also possess a strong
background in designing a strong colorguard program. Teaching experience is preferred
but not required. Current Act 34, Act 151, and FBI Fingerprinting background checks

Ephrata High School Marching Unit

The Donegal High School Marching Band is looking for a Color Guard Instructor for the
2012 marching season and beyond. Donegal High School is located in Mount Joy, PA,
western Lancaster County. Donegal finished in 4th place in the Independence Division at
the 2011 Cavalcade of Bands Association Championships. The band has competed in the
Independence Division in the Cavalcade of Bands Association the last three years, and
has finished in the Top-4 all three years.

The Donegal High School Marching Band rehearses on Tuesday and Thursday evenings
from 6:30-9:00, and on competition Saturdays during the fall marching season. The band
performs at all home and away football games. Band Camp is August 6-11. An exact
schedule will be discussed.

Responsibilities of the instructor position include:
1.      member recruitment and growing the guard program;
2.      holding separate guard training sessions/rehearsals from March-July as needed;
3.      writing and teaching work, collaborating on guard placement in the drill, and
costume/equipment selection for the fall marching season;
4.      writing and teaching work for the Manheim Community Farm Show Parade in the
fall, and three (3) Memorial Day parades in the spring.

Previous teaching experience is preferred, but not required. Willingness to be a team

The Manheim Central Marching Barons are currently looking for a PERCUSSION
INSTRUCTOR for the 2012 marching season and beyond.

The Marching Barons organization is a medium-sized (approximately average size is 65-
70 members) competitive marching band program that has competed, with increasing
success, in the Cavalcade of Bands Liberty Conference for the past several years; most
recently, we were crowned Cavalcade’s 2010 Liberty Conference, ‘A’ Division champs.

The 2011-12 Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Indoor Drumline seeks a high quality

The PW Indoor Drumline is a top competitor in the Mid-Atlantic Percussion Society
(MAPS) and Cavalcade Indoor Association (CIA) and was a 2009 and 2010 Winter

The Shippensburg University Red Raider Marching Band is currently

Springfield High School is currently looking for a Percussion Director/Instructor for
the 2010 Outdoor Marching Band Season. The ideal candidate possesses excellent
skills in teaching Battery as well as Auxiliary percussion instruments. DCI or similar
experience is preferred.

Springfield HS Marching Band is moving the program towards the competitive side
of things. Last year we did two exhibitions and went to Championships as an
exhibition. This year we're competing 4-5 times and hosting our own show.

The battery has come a long way and we are moving forward in a great direction.
The field band is about 90 kids and last year our battery was 5 snare, 2 quad, and 5
basses. We have Yamaha Equipment, light weight polycarbonate harnesses, stadium
stands etc. We also have New Uniforms!!

We have rehearsals set aside for the summer and band camp starts Mid-August. Fall
rehearsals are Mon. and Wed. 6-9pm. Attendance at band camp, rehearsals and
competitions are important but there is some flexibility with your schedule when

The Spring Grove Area School District is seeking passionate, experienced, and
committed personnel for the Blue Crüe marching band.

Background: The below mentioned positions have opened for various reasons
including child rearing, health, job changes, and retirement. Compensation varies by
position and is set by the district. College or Corps experience is recommended, but
not a requirement. Responsibilities include music sectionals, field visual instruction,
2 weeks of band camp in August, 2 rehearsals weekly beginning in September,
