							How Search Engines Work

In using the internet, consciously or unconsciously, an Internet user will use search engines to find
information they need. What is meant by search engine which is a combination of search software,
robot and a large database lookups. Then how search engines work?

Robots in the search engines will access the sites or websites that exist all over the world, robots are
called spiders or crawlers. Spider will identify the contents or the content of a website and follow the
link in the website content on a regular basis within a specified time. The results of identification of a
website's content and then the index is stored in a database.
When an internet user to type a row of words and make the search process on a search engine, then the
actual search software is in the process of sorting of millions of existing data in the database and look
for words that have similar or related to a row of words typed by the user's search engine.
