Lee Kaplan is Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Enterprise Holdings, the
most comprehensive service provider and only investment-grade company in the U.S. car rental
industry. Enterprise Holdings operates Alamo Rent A Car and National Car Rental as well as its
flagship Enterprise Rent-A-Car brand, and leads the car rental industry with more than a third of
all airport business in the U.S. and Canada. In his position, Kaplan is a Corporate Officer and has
overall responsibility for Enterprise Holdings’ risk management, legal and government affairs.

Enterprise Holdings’ extensive network includes 7,800 neighborhood and airport locations
worldwide. With annual revenues of $14.1 billion and more than 70,000 employees, Enterprise
Holdings also owns and operates, through its regional subsidiaries, more than 1 million cars and
trucks, making it the largest car rental company in the world measured by revenue, employees
and fleet. Ranked No. 15 on the Forbes list of America’s Largest Private Companies, Enterprise
Holdings’ revenues also place the company near the top of the travel industry, exceeding many
airlines and most cruise lines, hotels, tour operators and online travel agencies. Enterprise
Holdings is owned by the Taylor family and headquartered in St. Louis.

Kaplan began his career with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in 1985 as Assistant Controller in Southern
California. As Controller (1987) and later Vice President of Finance (1990) in Southern
California, Kaplan helped develop Enterprise’s regionalized structure, as the company’s Southern
California operation grew from 20 locations and 4,000 vehicles to more than 200 locations and
35,000 vehicles.

Kaplan was named Vice President of Corporate Risk Management in 1997. In 2003, he was
promoted to his current role of Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. Kaplan
also serves as president of the company’s insurance captive, insurance agency, and investment
subsidiary.

His commitment to the local community has given Kaplan the opportunity to share his business
skills, as well as his time, with several area organizations. A past president of the Board of
Trustees for Community School, he currently is a member of the Board of Trustees and Executive
Committee for COCA (Center of Creative Arts) and serves on the Board of Trustees at Whitfield
School and the Board of Directors for the St. Louis Regional Chamber and Growth Association
(RCGA).

Kaplan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting from the University of
California-Santa Barbara. Prior to joining Enterprise, he earned a CPA while working at Ernst &
Whinney, a national public accounting firm. He and his wife, Peggy, live in St. Louis with their
two children.
