Using the Faircom ODBC driver to access server files copied to a local machine
Purpose: This Document outlines the settings required to configure the
Faircom 32Bit ODBC Driver v3.10 Build(0208) to access Faircom
Server data files that are copied to a local machine.
Overview: The Faircom 32Bit ODBC Driver v3.10 Build(0208) may be
configured to access Faircom Server data files that have been
copied from a Faircom Server process to local machine or
accessible drive. When copying the files from the server process to
a local machine no clients can be attached to the server and all
data files must be closed. As this process can cause irreparable
damage to your live data files only qualified system administrators
should perform this process Note that this information is
provided for informational use only. There is no liability or
support available to assist in this process. Cove Systems, Inc.
recommends that all reporting be performed from the existing main
or replicated Faircom Servers.
Step 1: From the Control Panel or Start menu, open the ODBC
