Allotment of LPG Agency Under Rajiv Gandhi Gramin LPG Vitrak Yojna (RGGLVY) 1. Salient Features. As per the marketing plan of the concerned oil corporation, locations for LPG agency for Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vitrak (RGGLV) Scheme are advertised by oil companies in two newspapers, (one English Daily and one ‘Regional Vernacular Daily’) having maximum circulation in the Districts in which the dealership/distributorship is to be located. Application form for RGGLV Scheme is a part of the advertisement published in the newspapers. The application format can also be downloaded from the websites www.iocl.com, www.ebharatgas.com, www.bharatpetroleum.in and www.hindustanpetroleum.in Under this Scheme 25% quota has been reserved including Defence Personnel under Combined Category for allotment of LPG agency. The Combined Category includes DP/PMP/PH/OSP personnel. The four categories of Defence Personnel eligible for the scheme include War Widows/Dependents of those who died in War, War Disabled/Disabled on duty (disability 20% and above), Widows/Dependents of those who died in harness due to attributable causes and Disabled in Peace with disability (20% and above) attributable to military service. DGR issues Eligibility Certificate to above- mentioned entitled categories of ESM/Widow/Dependent. In case the widow applying for dependent son/daughter then he/she should be unmarried / unemployed and between 21 – 30 yrs of age. In that case a relinquishment deed is required to be submitted by the widow in favour of dependent son/daughter. 2. Issue of Eligibility Certificate. After advertisement in the newspaper, the eligible applicant is to approach the Directorate General Resettlement, RK Puram for issue of eligibility certificate with the following attested copies of documents as applicable’: (a) In case of ESM: Copies of the following documents duly attested by Notary/ ZSB / RSB will be attached: (i) Initial PPO and corrigendum if applicable in respect of ESM. (ii) Discharge book / Retirement orders in respect of ESM. (iii) Copy of Identity Card issued by ZSB / RSB. (iv) Affidavit as per format duly notarized. (v) Passport size photograph of applicant. (vi) Newspaper cutting of advertisement. (vii) Disability Certificate attributable to Military Service. (viii) Matriculation/equivalent certificate. (b) In case of widow and dependents : Copies of the following documents duly attested by Notary/ ZSB / RSB will be attached : (i) Death certificate along with proof of death of defence personnel being attributable to Military Service. (ii) Initial PPO and corrigendum if applicable in respect of Widow. (iii) Copy of Identity Card issued by ZSB / RSB. (iv) Proof of date of birth in respect of widow / dependent as case may be. (v) Matriculation certificate in respect of widow/Dependent. (vi) Affidavit as per format duly notarized. (vii) Relinquishment deed as per format duly notarized. (viii) Passport size photograph of applicant. (ix) Newspaper cutting of advertisement. 3. Procedure of Allotment. (a) The eligible applicants are sponsored by issuing an Eligibility Certificate indicating the priority as mentioned above. (b) The applicant then submits the application form along with the Eligibility Certificate to the concerned Regional Office of the Oil Company before due date. (c) Selection of dealerships/distributorship of Oil companies is made by the Oil Company through draw of lots of eligible candidates. (d) Letter of intent is issued by the concerned Oil Company to the selected applicant.
