Bryan has been part of the Kansas City IT community for over 13 years. After leaving Kansas University in 1994,
he founded and operated Ballard Electric. From inception, ‘BE’ managed over 75 construction projects annually.
In 1996 Bryan sold Ballard Electric to Raisin Electric. Shortly after, he joined Internet Direct Communications, a
startup Internet Service Provider, as one of the principal founders and technical staff. Over the course of the next
4.5 years Mr. Ballard assisted in the management and growth of Internet Direct Communications and the merger
of 22 regional ISP’s into Grapevine Internet with a final subscriber base of over 300,000 users. In 1999, Mr.
Ballard left the startup environment to take a position as Director of Network Security for Transworld Airlines
(TWA). While at TWA, Bryan Ballard was approached by several of his former clients to assist with Consulting
and custom IT Design projects. He founded Netsolus Consulting and data center as an IT consulting and design
firm in 2000. Netsolus achieved an average growth rate of 50% to 80% annually and today Netsolus has a data
center presence in Kansas City, Denver and Omaha. Netsolus has become a well-respected and received ‘brand’
in the Kansas City market, with clients like Procter & Gamble, Reece & Nichols Realtors and Prudential Real

emphasis on private cloud platforms. Daniel worked as a Network Design Specialist with an Enterprise Integrator
for over a decade and now focus on the Wide Area Communications associated with cloud services. Daniel’s
experience has allowed for a deep understanding of the Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, Citrix, NetApp, Dell, HP, Life
Size product lines. He strives to help customers create the most agile communication platforms, taking advantage
of both private and public networks. Whether the customer needs a robust low latency connection or the ability to
safely traverse the public internet, PAETEC can design and deliver the right solution. Understanding what the
cloud can do for you is Daniel’s specialty.

Glen Seimetz has over 30 years of experience in Telecommunications, Operations Support Systems, IT Services,
IT System Architectures, Network Architecture/Engineering, Data Center Facilities/Services and IT Security
Services. Glen is a CISSP with additional certifications from Network General, AT&T, SANS, Cisco and
Microsoft. Glen's prior positions include the following: Senior Director of Security and Data Center Services for
Siemens IT Solutions and Services, Manager of Security Engineering Support for Counterpane, Director of
Engineering Technical Support for Telenisus and Senior Engineer for Lucent/Bell Labs Comm. Software. Glen
lives in Wheaton IL with a menagerie of pets, vintage 60's/70's audio equipment with his lovely wife Pat who puts
up with his incoherent acronyms
