PROGRAM
This workshop is an intensive overview of the majority of tests needed to operate a textile laboratory. The program will consist of demonstrations and discussions by the AATCC staff of approximately 25 AATCC procedures for evaluating colorfastness and physical properties. The accelerated dimensional change procedure using the Quickwash Plus™ System will be included in the discussions. Emphasis will be placed on how to properly conduct and interpret tests, with registrants participating in hands-on laboratory sessions. Sessions will be conducted on basic color theory and measurement as well as fiber indentification. Participants will be shown how to use the AATCC Gray Scales for Staining and Color Change, the AATCC Chromatic Transference Scale, and Xenon Reference Fabric.
