					NSWCIS Gymnastics Championships 2010

This competition is open to girls

Date Friday 5th November 2010
Venue PLC Sydney Boundary St Croydon
Time 8.00am– 3.00pm
Dress Artistic leotards; Rhythmic Leotard;
     Sport Aerobics-Uniform Leotard (no midriffs are to be seen)
Nomination Fee: $19.80


Entries to be submitted online by the Association Delegate.

Entries due Monday 25th October 2010

Artistic

Entry Criteria - Levels 4 - 10 and International 6, 8 &10

Level 3 - Associations may enter a maximum of 2 teams per level. Each
team may be comprised of from 1-4 gymnasts (1 competes on all apparatus
or 4 compete on one apparatus each or various other combinations). No
MUSIC will be used for Level 3 in 2010
Level 3 has three categories
State Stream Start score 5
NDP (National development Program) Start Score 6
IDP (International Development Program) Start score 6
Staff will need to indicate on the entry form if a Level 3
gymnast is WAG 3S
WAG 3N or WAG 3I


Levels 4-10 & International 6, 8 & 10 - Associations may enter a maximum
of 3 teams per level. Each team may be comprised of from 1-4 gymnasts (1
competes on all apparatus or 4 compete on one apparatus each or various
other combinations). Girls may only compete in the levels for which they
qualified.

ELITE GYMNASTS
Classification starting point for CIS Competition.

(Non competition in last 12/24 months to apply)

Senior/Junior International = Level 10

Junior National = Level 8

International Level 8 = Level 7

International Level 6 = Level 6


If a girl has competed at the NSW State Championships in the same calendar
year you must follow the above guidelines. If gymnast does not qualify for
the State Championships, the level is at the association’s discretion.

Level 4/5 Requirements are National
Level 6 Requirements are National
Level 6-10 Vault tariff is the same from Level 6-10 i.e Level 6 National Vault
tariff

No extra deductions are to be made for using extra matting for landing (on
any apparatus).

Rhythmic Gymnastics

Offical school leotards should be worn to the comp – i.e. those that
were worn to compete in their Association competition where
applicable (IGSSA, CSSA) - this includes all ELITE gymnasts

Associations may enter 3 teams per level. Each team may be
comprised of from 1-3 gymnasts (1 competes with 3 apparatus or
2 compete on 2 apparatus and one respectively, or 3 compete with
one apparatus each)

Level 5-10
Level 5 – Rope ,Ball,Ribbon
Level 6 – Rope,Hoop,Ribbon
Level 7, 8, 9, 10, Junior, Senior, Level 7 Junior, Level 8 Junior - any
3 apparatus, but it must be specified.
Level 7 - International RG competitors must have their judges
routine sheets for each apparatus to Kylie Mulholland

Group – Each association may enter a maximum of 3 teams per

Primary
Level 3 Intermediate - Hoop (4 gymnasts)
Level 3 Intermediate- Ball (4 gymnasts)
Gymnasts must not be competitive in state level 4 or higher for this
section. International levels 5 & 6 may compete in this section. (Levels
1-3 & Int 5-6 Only)



Secondary
Category 4 – Rope (5 gymnasts)

Multi-Disability Routines

Associations may enter 3 teams per sequence.
 Each team may be comprised of from 1-4 gymnasts (1 competes 4
sequences or 2 compete 2 sequences each, or 4 compete one
sequence each)
Artistic
Vault
Floor
Rhythmic Gym
Level A Ball – Music “Twist & Shout”
Level B Hoop – Music “Freeze Frame”

Individual - No limit per association
Teams (3-6 per team – maximum 3 teams per association)
Levels 1-3 – Individual & Team
Competitors may compete in both individual and team but the
routines must not be the same
National A – Individual, Pair & team
National B – Individual, Pair & team
National A & B. Competitors may compete both individual, pair
and team but the routines must not be the same.
International - Individual (maximum of 3 per association) and
Trio.
Competitors may compete in both individual and trio but the same
routine must not be completed in both sections.

Where there are limited entries age groups for National A and
National B will be combined.

Entry: There will be no door entry charge. Each gymnast entering
the Championships will pay a nomination fee of $19.80 and
receive a programme on arrival at the event.
