MEMORANDUM FOR Commander, Indiana Guard Reserve, 2002 South Holt Road,
Indianapolis, Indiana 46241

SUBJECT: Approval for Wear of the ACU Ensemble


1. The purpose of this memorandum is to grant authorization for members of the Indiana
Guard Reserve personnel to wear ACU clothing items.

2. Wear of the uniform will be IAW AR 670-1, Wear and Appearance of Army Uniforms
and Insignia. IGR Modifications will include:

   a.   Wear of the Indiana State Flag in lieu of the American Flag
   b.   Wear of non-subdued IGR patch on the left shoulder
   c.   Wear of the Indiana name tag in lieu of U.S. Army
   d.   Wear of the army black patrol cap as the authorized headgear.

3. Wear out date of the BDU uniform is 4 years from this date.
