Phylis’ Pudding Balls Serves 12
You will need:
55g margarine or butter 1 pack (10 oz) regular marshmallows 3ml vanilla extract (optional) 160g chocolate rice crispy cereal or rice crispie cereal and 2 tablespoons cocoa powder. Chopped nuts and coconut (optional) Large microwaveable bowl Ready rolled white icing or icing sugar Red and green icing pens
Instructions:
1. In a large microwave bowl melt margarine and marshmallows on high for about 2 minutes 2. Stir after 1 minute 3. Stir mixture until smooth 4. Stir in vanilla and cocoa powder if using 5. Add rice crispies and stir until well coated 6. Allow to cool 7. Shape into balls 8. Roll in chopped nuts and coconut if desired 9. Cut out some white icing to create the topping 10.Using a green and red icing pen, decorate holly leaves and berries
Oven method
1. In a saucepan over a low heat melt together marshmallows, butter, vanilla and food colouring 2. Mix in the cereal until well coated 3. Follow above from step 6

125g cornflakes cereal Red sweets to decorate Green icing pen 6. Allow to cool a little 7. Place on some greaseproof paper and shape into a circle, leaving a circle in the middle 8. Add red sweets for the holly berries 9. Use a green icing pen to decorate with holly leaves 10. Allow to set

You will need: How to play
Puddings depending on number of children. These can be made using Styrofoam balls covered with tissue paper or fabric. Music.

1. Kids sit in a circle 2. Hand out the puddings, one less than children in the group (if you have lots of children, have 2 without a pudding) 3. When the music starts to play the children start passing the puddings with there arms in the air 4. When the music stops the one without a pudding is out (and gets a small treat) 5. Now remove another pudding from the circle. 6. This pattern continues until you have only one pudding left, who is the winner
