KROGER CARD TUITION REBATE PROGRAM: In order to participate in the Kroger Card Tuition Rebate Program at Christ the King Preschool, please follow the steps listed below: 1. Register your Kroger Plus Shopper’s Card on line at www.Krogercommunityrewards.com. If you don’t have one, it can be obtained from Kroger (this is the same card you use to receive the discounted sale prices at Kroger). Make sure you select Christ the King Lutheran Church, Grosse Pointe Woods, (enrollment number, #82893) as your organization. If you do not have access to the internet, you may take a Christ the King scan bar sheet to Kroger. (These can be obtained from the church or preschool office). You will need to hand the scan bar sheet to the cashier during check out in addition to your Kroger Plus Shopper’s Card, or phone number entry that is linked to your Kroger Plus Card. This will automatically link your Kroger Plus Shopper’s Card to Christ the King. The scan bar sheet is used only if you do not register your shopper’s card on line and only needs to be used once in order to link your card for all future purchases. If you have family and friends that would like to help with your child’s tuition, they too must register their cards on line (or use the scan bar sheet). It is more profitable for you not to “link cards” to one address or phone number or to give family members (those outside of your home) your additional Kroger Shopper’s Cards. The reason for this is that Kroger will limit a household’s earned rewards on a quarterly basis. By having your family and friends register their names and addresses, you can maximize your tuition rebate. The sooner you register, the sooner you can start to earn your rebate when the program begins on May 1, 2009. All you need to do is swipe your Kroger Plus Card (or enter your alternate ID which is usually your phone number) every time you check out. Not only will you receive Kroger’s sale prices, but your eligible purchases1 will be tracked electronically to earn your child’s tuition rebate. 2. Print and fill out the form below and return it to the preschool or church office as soon as possible. This will give us the information we need to track the reward2 returned to Christ the King from your eligible purchases, which in turn, 40% will go towards your child’s tuition in the form of a rebate. 3. From May 1st through July 31st your purchases will earn a reward which will be posted to Christ the King Lutheran Church and Preschool. Forty percent of the reward that Christ the King receives from your eligible purchases will be deducted from your child’s October tuition payment. You will receive notice of the amount of this rebate in September. For example, if Christ the King receives a $50 reward from your eligible purchases, you would receive 40% of this, a $20 rebate, to deduct from your child’s tuition payment. The remainder of your reward would benefit Christ the King Lutheran Church and Preschool. 4. Due to the fact that you pay May’s tuition in September and Kroger’s third quarter cycle date ends on April 30th (with the reward statement mailed to Christ the King by May 30 th), a rebate check, for 40% of the reward earned from purchases you make between August 1, 2009 and April 30, 2010 (three quarterly cycles), would be mailed to you (from Christ the King) in June of 2010.
