Cloris M. Henry Associate Director SEO Scholars Program
In addition to providing oversight for the Scholars Program math programming, program data collection and reporting, and mentoring among other areas, Cloris serves as the administrative manager of the Scholars Program. Before joining SEO, Cloris was the Outreach Program Manager for the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth for more than five years, where she led the development and implementation of the Next Generation Venture Fund, an initiative spearheaded by the Goldman Sachs Foundation. She has been engaged in the field of education for many years and has taught courses in sociology at Touro College and instructed emotionally and developmentally delayed youth at the National Institute for People with Disabilities. In addition to her teaching background, Cloris brings a strong network with multiple school districts, universities, and communitybased organizations in New York City; and experience with program design and implementation, and organizational expansion initiatives. She earned her M.A. in the Sociology of Education from NYU and her B.A. from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. In her free time, she enjoys reading, tennis, softball and traveling.
