New Roles & Fresh Faces
We are pleased to announce that the position of Staffing Supervisor for our Rockland & Orange County
program has been filled with our very own Barbara Westphal. Barbara has been working for RCDS since
2007. She first served as a Quality Assurance Coordinator and currently has been our Billing Coordinator for
the Rockland & Orange County program. Barbara will be transitioning into her new role over the next two
weeks. Her former position as Billing Coordinator has been assumed by Anna Villagran who has successfully
served as our Collections Coordinator for the two last years.
Another key update within our Rockland & Orange County program involves Ongoing Service Coordinator
Jennifer Cruz who stepped down as of July 10th. We truly appreciate Jennifer's diligent efforts within the
last year and wish her the very best in all her future endeavors. In light of Jen's departure, Evaluation
Coordinator Zoë Lugo-Mendoza, transferred to serve as our Bilingual Ongoing Service Coordinator.
Zoë was transitioned into this role over a two week period. In the interim, Evaluation Coordinators
Hope Passineau & Malky Knopler, have assumed evaluation responsibilities currently held by Zoë.
Within our Quality Assurance Department, a new QA Coordinator, Joanna Peat, joins us this month. Joanna
previously served as a student intern & temporary support staff for RCDS. Joanna replaces Ann Misiano
who stepped down after successfully serving for RCDS for the last year. We thank Ann for her outstanding
dedication & job performance as we look forward to welcoming Joanna back to the agency.
Last but certainly not least, a candidate has been hired for the position of Recruitment Manager.
Stacy Beazer-Patton joins us as of July 20th. Stacy previously served as the Director of VISTA National Service
& Agency Relations for the NYC Coalition Against Hunger (NYCCAH) managing their Americorps
program which provided assistance to emergency food programs throughout the five boroughs of NYC. A key
part of her role was recruiting, supervising & training Americorps teams and host sites. Stacy is now
responsible for recruiting, interviewing and orienting qualified professionals for RCDS. She is primarily based
from our Queens Office & can be reached at 866-715-3209 ext. 4112.
