Jean Monnet Projects The European Studies Master’s Program is one of the few European studies programs where there are four ongoing Jean Monnet course modules and two Jean Monnet chairs. The program’s inclusion into the European Commission’s Jean Monnet project through these grants is a further illustration of its competitive strength internationally. The M.A. in European Studies Program at Sabancı University is a highly competitive program with the ultimate aim of studying contemporary Europe, with a special emphasis on the European Union. The careers of the alumni of the European Studies Program demonstrate that the program furnishes students with a comparative advantage that enables them to pursue their career goals at the national, European and the international level. The students receive an interdisplinary training in the program with economics, history, legal studies and politics of European integration constituting the main pillars of study.
