									This is a letter a landlord uses to certify that an individual or business is their tenant at a
particular location. If required, this letter contains optional language that the landlord
can use to verify that the tenant is currently living on the premises. Additionally, this
letter can be customized to include any specific language that may be necessary. This
letter should be used by landlords, property owners, or property management
companies that are asked to verify the tenancy of a particular tenant.

I am the manager [Instruction: Insert applicable title of person executing letter.], pursuant to
an agreement with the lawful owner (the “Owner”) of the property located at ______ (the
“Property”). [Instruction: Insert address of property.] This letter will confirm that, as of the
date of this letter, ___________ [Instruction: Insert tenant’s name.] is renting the Property
pursuant to an agreement with the Owner [Comment: If the rental is pursuant to a written
lease, state same with respect to the agreement, and include lease commencement and
termination dates.]. Optional language: If true, known, and requested to be included, a
statement may be added stating that Tenant currently lives in the Property. This language
may be further tempered by agent stating “To the best of my knowledge, Tenant is
currently occupying the Property.”
