Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation
Hosted by Pomperaug, Powahay, and Scatacook Districts
BALOO is a one-day training course in basic outdoor camping in accordance with
BSA policy. This course is designed to introduce new leaders and parents to
preparing for pack overnights.
IT IS MANDATORY THAT IN ORDER FOR A PACK TO CAMP
OVERNIGHT THERE MUST BE AT LEAST ONE BALOO TRAINED
LEADER IN ATTENDANCE!

When? March 24, 2007, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Where? Hoyt Scout Reservation, Training Cabin, Redding, CT
Cost? $15 – Includes program materials and Guide to Safe Scouting
