Graduate Assistant for the Academic Support, Intercollegiate Athletics
Position Descriptions:
Meet with identified (10 to 15) student-athletes on a weekly basis to monitor
academic progress, develop an academic action plan, address problems, make
referrals to student services
Supervise Student-Athletes in Study Hall Program (including 2 evenings/week)
Compile CHAMPS/Life Skills Program Evaluations
Update Bulletin Boards
Other duties as needed
Start and End Dates: August 15-May 18
Stipend: $2130/year towards tuition
Number of positions: 1
Desired Skills:
Organizational and Communication Skills
Ability to work with college students
Computer Skills (word processing, knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access)
Counseling experience would be helpful
Other: Opening is dependent upon approval by the Graduate Studies Office
