FOR ALL CHEERLEADERS Your first practice will be Monday, August 17th @ 3:00 pm, Place TBA. ___________________________________________________________________ Please announce to your TAs that Cross Country practice will begin Monday Aug. 17 at 3:00. We will meet at the tennis courts and all persons should have an updated Physical on file in the nurse’s office. Thanks, Mr. Lopez __________________________________________________________________ 7th Grade: Football begins tonight! Anyone interested in playing football should meet after school on/near the bleachers outside of the gym (upper field). If you want to play but haven't turned in your physical, come to practice anyway. We need to know who is planning on playing. NO ONE will be allowed to join after Wednesday. Mr. Budde, Mr. Cole, Mr. Driscoll, Mr. Hernandez _________________________________________________________________ Anyone interested in being a manager for an 8th grade football team that is not playing in another sport please come and see Mr. Uhde As soon as possible. _________________________________________________________________ 6,7,8th Buddy Club. Interested in meeting new friends, including everyone, and being kind to all! Come join the Buddy Club for some fun activities throughout the year. Memphis will be looking forward to seeing you all there on Wed. August 31, at 3:00 in Mrs. Wentink's room (C6). Everyone is welcome. Use the slip you got in rehearsal last week as your pass from class. First day 2 lessons meet today. _________________________________________________________________ Attention 8th Grade Mentors - Please check in with your TA teacher on Friday mornings before attending your 6th grade TA. This ensures that we have accurate attendance for those days. Thanks! Haley Wikoff _________________________________________________________________ 6-7- 8 2009 Football Chain Gang We are looking for hard-working, responsible students who would like to be members of the 2009 Middle School Football Chain Gang this fall. The job involves holding the down and distance markers for the 7th and 8th Grade football games and pays $2.00 per game. If you are willing and able to show up for each game and work from 3:00 to approximately 5:45 on Tuesday and/or Thursday nights, see Mr. Thompson immediately in room C10. _________________________________________________________________ Cross country practice will meet daily at the tennis courts. T-shirt, shorts and good tennis/running shoes are important to have. Students should have a physical on file in the Deans office before beginning practice. If you do not have a physical, please see Mr. lopez, Mrs. Gaffney, or Ms. Youngmeyer and let us know if you intend on participating.
