As a member of the Rotary Club of Savannah South, you are invited to submit a request to the Contributions Committee
for charitable donations to worthy organizations and projects. This form is intended to gather sufficient information regarding
the nature of the organization and the purpose of the donation to fairly evaluate the request for funding by the club. At least
once during each Rotary Year, the Committee and Board of Directors of this club will consider all submitted requests and
determine the funding levels appropriate for the year.

To be considered for funding during the current Rotary year ending June 30 , you must submit your sponsored charitable
donation request to a member of the Charitable Giving Committee no later than April 19. Requests received after April 19 will
be considered for the new Rotary year beginning July 1 st.

Charitable Donation Guidelines
Each Rotary year, the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Savannah South considers requests for
charitable donations. The Board wishes to evaluate any requests as consistently and objectively as
possible, consistent with the expressed priorities of the Club. Please review the general guidelines listed
below when considering your sponsorship of a charitable funding request. Requests representing a
possible conflict of interest may not be considered.

   o Timeliness. To be considered for funding during the current Rotary year ending June 30th, you
     must submit your sponsored charitable donation request to the Contributions Committee by no
     later than April 19. Requests received after April 19 will be forwarded to and considered for the
     new Rotary year beginning July 1st.
   o Sponsorship. Any charitable donation requests must be submitted to the Board by a sponsoring
     current member of the Rotary Club of Savannah South. The sponsoring member is responsible for
     gathering appropriate information that will enable the Board to evaluate the request. The
     sponsoring member should also be available to assist the Board in communicating with his/her
     proposed recipient. This will include approval or denial of the request as well as scheduling of
     presentations to the club and/or the Board.
   o Humanitarian Requests. Requests benefiting basic human needs including food, water, shelter,
     and safety will be given higher priority.
   o Local Focus. Equivalent requests will be prioritized based on proximity to our community.
   o Avenue of Service. All requests should be identified with respect to one of the following four
     avenues of service:
                          Club Service
                          Community Service
                          International Service
                          Vocational Service
