Dear Sir or Madam,

The Truth Basketball is a non-profit youth program that has been working with children from
ages 9 to 15 since the summer of 1999. The objective of this youth program is to develop and
encourage traditional values through youth and parental involvement in an organized sports
environment. Traditional values of discipline, academics, sportsmanship, and respect is the
main focus of this program. The Truth Basketball strives to teach the youth in our community
through basketball, that discipline and team work are important tools for developing good
character. This season The Truth Basketball has established a partnership with the nationally
recognized Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). We have adopted and incorporated the
vision, mission, and values of the FCA. Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has
been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and
youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA
is the largest interdenominational, school-based, Christian sports organization in America. The
Truth Basketball is proud to be a ministry partner of the FCA and its focus on serving local
communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for
Christ.

To present to athletes and coaches and all whom they influence the challenge and adventure of
receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relations and in the fellowship
of the church.
