Summary
The Sales Administrator plays a central and key role within Aperio’s sales organization. This position is primarily
responsible for complete administration of the sales order processes for the Company. Success in this position depends
on superior organization and time management, as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills. The ideal
candidate for this position is a skilled specialist who completes tasks in creative and effective ways. The ability to identify
problems, analyze information and develop conceptual solutions to complex challenges is essential. This individual takes
ownership of the work requiring attention and is able to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. This
position reports to the Manager of Inside Sales.

Major Responsibilities
    Administrate entire sales order process including
          •   Fulfill RFQ’s & RFP’s submitted by field Sales Reps – issue detailed quotations and proposals
          •   Acknowledge purchase orders and send welcome packets to customers
          •   Prepare and process sales orders
          •   Update and maintain delivery/shipment schedule
          •   Coordinate shipments to/from customers
          •   Coordinate delivery and installation with customers
          •   Active management of deferred shipments
          •   Communicate with Sales Managers regarding order and delivery status
          •   Maintain current and accurate customer files and information
    Ownership and management of Product Catalog
    SFDC database administration including
          •   Month & Quarter-end reconciliation with accounting revenue – in cooperation with Controller
          •   Data management
          •   Database improvement projects
    Additional responsibilities include
          •   Act as a liaison between Customers, Sales Managers, and other departments within the organization to
              help ensure customer satisfaction
          •   Maintain Distributor/VAR Files & Agreements
          •   Perform other duties as required in collaboration with the VP of Sales

Qualifications
          •   Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism
          •   Must have a keen eye to details
          •   Skillful at promoting ideas and interacting positively and with confidence
          •   Ability to multitask, prioritize a variety of tasks and meet deadlines
          •   Proven communication skills both orally and written with customers and internal colleagues
          •   Customer focused individual who believes in ensuring promises are delivered upon and can foster a climate
              of trust and cooperation with colleagues and customers
          •   Strong experience with PC based communications and analysis including Internet, E-mail, MS Office
          •   Some accounting experience a plus
          •   Experience with sales contact management (salesforce.com) and quoting software

Requirements
          •   BS/BA in Business Administration is desirable
          •   Minimum 3-5 years related experience
