advice during crucial times. By building a network of supporters and asking for help, you make
yourself better-equipped to help yourself and survive troubled situations.

A great personal development strategy is to try and mimic someone who possesses the traits that
you wish to have. This is a pretty simple tip. Being around someone who has a trait that you wish
to have will make it easier for you to develop that trait.

To ward off feeling sluggish and fatigued, increase your activity level while reducing saturated

a faster thinking, more ambitious feeling within you.

better. Try to make exercise an enjoyable daily habit and not a chore, so you can get into the
routine of it.
In order to really feel the need to make a change, you have to be dissatisfied with your current
situation. If you are not completely happy, you will want to improve yourself. Just be cautious so
that you are not getting down on yourself, but are giving yourself motivation for change.

Talk about your feelings. Many people, especially men, have a problem expressing how they feel
inside. The truth is, expressing your feelings can give you a feeling of release and a sense of
freedom. Find a few people who will listen without judging you and let them know how you feel.

Do not just react to whatever events are taking place in your life. Always be proactive more than
reactive. Being reactive is just accepting whatever events come your way. Being proactive isn't
just taking care of those events but also creating your own events. Stay away from just being
reactive and become proactive.

Before reacting to a challenge, take time to think. Even if it is only thirty seconds of time, these
seconds will give your mind time to process information that your initial gut reaction may have
overlooked. Don't make this thinking time into your reason for not to taking action, by the way. Set
a deadline time for when a choice must be made.

Taking time for yourself when you really need it will enable you to handle life better. Being
constantly overwhelmed and stressed not only reeks havoc on your mind and body, but it keeps
you tightly bound in an out of control cycle. Having control over situations allows you to make
better decisions today which leaves you better prepared for tomorrow. Be it a power nap, walk in
the park or outright vacation, taking time for yourself is taking care of yourself.

When seeking to develop your personality it is key that you seek purity as opposed to seeking
eloquence. In other words, seek wisdom that is both pure and powerful. Learn how to discern the
difference between truth and wickedness. Once you distinguish the difference between these two
you will gain both understanding and insight.
