Entourage
provides
email,
a
calendar,
address
book,
task
manager,
a
note
list,
and
a

project
manager.

Entourage
includes
support
for
Microsoft
Exchange
servers

(@uab.edu)
as
well
as
POP
and
IMAP
accounts.




It
is
strongly
recommended
that
you
use
your
campus
email
account
for
all
email

communications.

Please
follow
these
instructions
to
configure
your
@uab.edu
email

account.



      Before
you
begin
make
sure
you
have
connected
to
the
Internet.



    1. Click
the
        

icon,
which
should
be
in
your
dock.

If
the
icon
is
not
on


       your
dock
open
the
Applications
Folder
–
Microsoft
Office
2008
‐

            .

       

    2. Either
action
will
bring
up
this
window.






                                                                                          

       

       From
here
we
will
attempt
an
automated
setup.

Select
the
“Start
using

       Entourage
with
importing
anything”
radio
button.

Click
the
right
arrow

       button
in
the
lower
right
side
of
the
“Setup…”
window.

       





3.
   You
should
now
see
the
“Set
up
a
Mail
Account”

window
from
the
Entourage

      Setup
Assistant.

Enter
your
Blazerid
followed
by
the
@uab.edu
in
the
E‐Mail

      address

     Click
the
“My
account
is
on…
“
box.





4.
   After
completing
step
3,
click
the
right
arrow
in
that
window
to
continue.




      When
clicked
the
account
information
window
opens.

Enter
the
requested

      information
as
you
see
below.

The
Domain
is
always
UAB.

Enter
your

      BlazerID
and
BlazerID
Password.

Check
the
“Save
password…”
box
if
you

      would
like
to
save
your
password
so
that
you
won’t
have
to
enter
it
every

      time
you
start

successful
you
should
see
this

click
the
right
arrow
to
continue
with
the
remainder
of

      the
setup.


If
you
do
not
see
this
window,
please
go
back
and
verify
the

      information
you
entered
is
correct.

entered
correctly

connection
doesn’t
occur,
