							The Las Vegas Bead Society Regular Meeting of January, 14, 2009




The meeting was called to order by President, Joy Grigsby.

Membership: There were 11 members present.

The members present voted to accept the changes in the Bi-laws which pertained
to persons who hold office. The change will be posted on line for the members.




Treasurerʼs Report by Janet Klion was handed to Board Members. Balance on
hand $1,900.76.




Dana Russell, reported the successful Christmas Gift donations to Safe Nest. It
was appreciated.




The ASD/AMD show dates at the Sands Expo Center & Las Vegas Convention Center
, also at Mirage Events Center & Ballroom are Sunday March 15 to Wednesday, March
18. Open to licensed persons only.




Terry Moran will teach at our February 11th meeting. A materials list will be
available on our web site.




Sunday, January 18 we will continue to work on our Valentine Heart pendants
and earrings.




April 19th a Sunday, Karen Serra will give a class in Polymer Clay. A fee of $25
will be collected in February for the class. A minimum of 10 persons will make
the class go.

All fees other the kit will go to a donation of her favorite charity.
A discussion of the up coming programs for the coming months and volunteer
teachers needed. Several members have volunteered to participate.




A discussion followed regarding a program schedule change.
